I worked with Luntz when I worked in DC as a telecom lobbyist (in my days “B.M.” — Before Motherhood) and he is truly a genius.... kind of a weirdo, but a genius nonetheless....

Maybe we will have to appeal to voters common sense?
Yes, but only in that McCain is the lesser of two evils, not that he's a solid, exciting conservative people can rally around.
Alas.

Here’s what I think. I think Rush Limbaugh is a genius.
He sees what trouble we are in and he is doing everything he can to make things come out as well as they can.

McCain supporters. I plan on voting for him, after a few Margaritas with a combination of pain pills. Most excellent idea, then I can say, I was drunk and F'ed up when I did it.

You can carry these in your pocket and use headphones and still get around the house.

I agree with you, this is war with the enemy within and if a person can vote to keep the left fighting each other all the better.

“Great analysis right now from Rush about the Dems and how immoral they are in other aspects of life (abortion, Constitution, etc.)
What a GREAT ANALYSIS!!!!!!”
I agree. I also feel better because Rush relieved my fear about Hillary possibly winning in November. Guess Rush is right most of the time and hope he is this time too!
To: seekthetruth
Regardless of whether Rush’s stunt had a decisive impact on the result in Texas, the fact remains that all that was accomplished yesterday was to make it exceedingly likely that BOTH candidates, in whatever order, will be on the ticket.
That’s not helpful.

I was in favor of the Dubai Ports deal, at least for the FL Ports. They could not be worse than they are now.

I’ve never seen Thune on TV or heard him speak. I’ll have to pay attention.
Bobby Jindal has been mentioned as a rising GOP “star,” but it’s early yet.

I love Rush and have been listening for years. The "strategery" he is now "encouraging" couldn't be more wrong, sad to say. One should defeat formidable enemies at the first available opportunity. We have long been awaiting this chance to defeat the Clinton's, and should be taking advantage of it.
I will be registering Democrat in the Pennsylvania primary and will vote for Obama to defeat Hillary. I would strongly urge other Conservative/republican Pennsylvanians to do the same.
Hillary will be forced to pick Obama as her running mate, and unlike Obama/anyone but Hillary, it will prove to be an even more unbeatable ticket, one that McCain will have an even lessor chance of defeating.

Interesting- this morning someone said Thune is as close as we get to Obama- young, charismatic, articulate etc...a possible VP choice.. Man, I hope McCain has the sense to select a real conservative as his running mate.

I heard it from the other room so I didn’t see the video...perhaps he was just being sarcastic, but it sure didn’t sound like it. Did anyone else hear the exchange?

I hope he’s right, too. You know that saying: “Be careful what you wish for....”
To: firewalk
No, they enjoy the echo chamber of no debate.
I’m out to lunch....Rush started to address the emails and calls and then veered off topic, blaming it on the Republican nominee.
He stated “I didn’t elect the GOP nominee, it’s not my fault if we lose in November.
Rush, you did NOT support any of the conservatives: not Thompson, Hunter, Tancredo...and then you jumped on Romney when it was way too late...you’re right you didn’t elect the GOP nominee.
Out to lunch, I’ll listen in the car to see if he takes any callers who feel he screwed the pooch.

It’s also about baggage and experience. Hillary has too much baggage and too little experience.
