I wouldn’t have placed Thune on a short list for VP, anyhow, simply because he has no more Senate experience than Obama (although he does have more overall experience adding in his House service), and has no particularly unique achievement to point to (short of beating Daschle). The Governor of SD, Mike Rounds, would be a better choice, but placing someone from SD on the ticket wouldn’t particularly do much to help us there, since we tend to carry those states fairly handily (excluding MN, of course).
I would examine her very deliberate breach of the written agreement she made with Obama and Edwards not to enter the Florida and Michigan primaries since the DNC ruled that their delegates would not be seated if the democrat party of those states moved their primaries up.
Anyway, thank you for your comments and argument in support of Rush. The state parties did, and she ran. This could very well be her path to gaining delegates without having to compete, nor play by the rules.
Which leads me to my beginning assertion that the Clintons will corrupt the system in order to achieve their goals. They do not mind that their words do not match their deeds. Whatever it takes to win. Rush should never play with fire unless he knows it can be contained and easily put out. I think he may get some vicarious joy out of his interferring troublemaking, but the Clintons are slithering snakes and damned with pesky rules, vows, written contracts, laws, Constitution, if these obstacles prevent them from their ultimate desires.
I don’t believe McCain will win, but am planning to vote for him.

In the past couple of days since Hillary's "comeback", it looks like the Dems have gone into complete meltdown mode and have turned their guns inward to go after each other like rabid dogs, the kind of viciousness they were planning to use on the GOP once McCain got the nod.
Is the anti-Rush crowd here on FR still mad at Rush for stopping the MSM's coronation of Saint Obama? Do you really think "finshing Hillary off" 7 months before the election and letting the Dems unite to spend all their waking hours going after McCain was the right thing to do?
Face it folks -- RUSH WAS RIGHT
