NEW YORK (CBS) ― Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton hinted at the possibility of a democratic "dream ticket" with Sen. Barack Obama.
Speaking on the Early Show on CBS, Clinton said "that may be where this is headed, but we have to decide who is on the top of the ticket."
Clinton said the race between her and Obama remains "incredibly close," with just "smidgens of difference" between them.
Clinton's remarks after her campaign won two big states yesterday: Ohio and Texas. She also won Rhode Island. The wins enabled her campaign to break Obama's 12-state winning streak and pick up some momentum of its own.
Speaking later on the Early Show, Obama congratulated Clinton on her victories while maintaining he would be able to wrap up the democratic nomination.
"We still have close to an insurmountable lead in delegates," Obama said. Obama said his campaign had won nearly twice as Clinton as well as a greater share of the popular vote.
They played right into the dhummie's hands.
Oh, I get it.
Michelle will be be too busy to bother Hillary because she will be the head of the new government administered medical system
"Where are the white women at?"
Several $100.00 bets have been made recently. Sure wish I would have kept track of all those who will owe me $100.00!
He’s ahead in delegates and popular vote...She can not call the shots. The math is such Hillary can not catch up in delegates. Barring some sort of typical Clinton dirty trick, she can not win the nomination. If her last name was not Clinton, she would have gotten out after the Potomac Primarys-certainly after Wisconsin. I don’t believe the Dem Party will allow Clinton to fracture the Dem Party in the end. It’s just a matter of how much damage will the Clinton’s cause in the short term. Its kind of interesting, we have a Dem candidate who really screwed Democrats (1994,Al Gore loss) and a Republican candidate who screwed Repubs-crazy year.
Reminds me of that “top man, bottom man” skit of The Three Stooges. Except this time, it’s deadly serious.
Correct as it stand now she has no choice, but Obama does. So she is trying to negotiate for something she cannot win. She is saying let me be president and you VP, I would bet she will even try and tell him she would leave after one term. But I think he has more on the ball than that.
I think you responded to the wrong guy?
I’m gonna be sick
He’s preached change....no way is he going to have Hitlery on that ticket.
Hillary/Obama against a tired old man.......not good.
LOL!
If it happens be sure and drop Rush a thank you note!!!
I don’t think the African Americans would forgive him if he did take the VP spot. Not to mention him having to look Michelle in the eyes when he told her.
Yes it will. He will receive the proverbial offer he can't refuse.
Bought the MSM line!!! It wasn't a huge win, the delegate count hasn't changed in any manner that means anything. And according to the math she still cannot win.
He would, if the Dhummie party "makes" him understand that it's in his "best interest". He's young and he knows he can bide his time until the next election or after Hitlery's 8 years (shudder).
Personally, I think a Hitlery/Osama ticket has been the plan from the start, they just almost let it get out of hand as Osama started taking on a cult-like following when he began attracting the black and college kid votes.
You aren’t and actually, it doesn’t matter who is on top of any ticket. - As long as the opponent is McCain.
The GOP is pursuing it’s own agenda and it obviously doesn’t really care about conservative values.
Just look at the ones who are heavily supported by the GOP and the RNC.
Specter.
Mel Martinez.
McCain.
My take is that losing an election or two is chump change to the K street boys.
They don’t care that much and their agenda is pretty close to most of the dems except for details on how to get there from here.
McCain loses 30 - 34 states.
Aside from my deep dislike of McCain, he is not a popular Republican (disliked by conservatives),the Repubs are in power and the economy is in recession, he is linked to an unpopular Repub president, he is pro-nafta (this will hurt him in the Mid-West especially Ohio) and he is 72 years old. People may not admit it, but age will be a factor in this race. I don’t know anyone who is truly enthusiastic about McCain. Dems are chomping at the bit. The Dem primary vote has been two and sometimes three times the norm. It feels like a Dole year. I just pray that Hillary is not the elected President in the end.
