K-Lo, writing here from Austin, Texas.
Not sure why the networks havent picked up on this, but there is definitely a sizable portion of the vote in Texas tonight comprised of Republican voters looking to game the Democratic primary. I spoke with numerous friends today, who claim to be Republican, who said they voted for Sen Clinton with the thought that it will prolong the Dem in-fighting and therefore benefit Republicans. I wont debate the merits of their argument here, but the phenomenon (Republicans voting for Sen Clinton to gain the system) is real and I think material to the results. Im surprised I havent seen anyone reporting it and just how large the impact might be. Im sure it is contributing to the number of voters deciding in the final three days to support Sen. Clinton. Would be curious to hear your contributors comment on this dynamic. The VRWC conspires to save the Clinton campaign?
Further proof of my initial assessment of you. Embarrassing to have such screwball conspiricists professing to be conservatives.
Notice to DU and liberal media lurkers: antisocial is not representative of conservatives as a whole. Each side has their wackos. antisocial is one of ours.
It’s different, I agree. Doesn’t mean that it all will become actionable. If he turns out to be a dud, he gets taken out for a long boat ride in Lake Erie. The military know the score and all will be well. We need massive change, you know that and I do too.
I’m reminded of the old (non-Christian) parable:
One time a fox came to a river and prepared to swim across it. A scorpion came up to the fox and asked, “Can I ride on your back to get to the other side?”
The fox responded, “No way! You’ll sting me!”
The scorpion replied, “Why would I sting you? If I do that, we’ll both drown.”
The fox found this reasonable and let the scorpion on his back, and started to swim across the river. Halfway in the river, the scorpion stung him. As he began to feel the effects of the poison, he said to the scorpion, “Why did you do that? Now we’ll both drown!”
“It’s my nature”, replied the scorpion.
Similarly here. I’m glad that the battle between Obama and Clinton will continue for a few more weeks, but any Republican that voted for Clinton (or still plans to in any upcoming primary) should be reminded of that parable above.
Very True.....
She can’t help herself .

More embarrassing to have wacko Rush haters claiming to be conservatives.
Rush has done more for the conservative movement than almost anyone. Badmouthing him on a conservative forum is most troll like.

ROFL! So you're one of those Rushbots who waits for Rush to tell you how to think! I guess the media weren't so far off on that one.
FYI, there's another kind of Rush fan -- the kind that dares to disagree with him when he's wrong. The kind with a brain.
This flame war is over. Buzz off, gnat.
“With the Clintons, the country was basically on auto pilot and did just fine!”
What about the first World Trade Center bombing? The terrorists meant to bring the twin towers down then, it was just lucky for us that they weren’t more successful on that day as they intended to kill thousands of innocent people.
“This flame war is over. Buzz off, gnat.”
Damn, as rude as you are it’s a given that you are a imported yankee.
Indeed. Rush Limbaugh is a genius! He knows that "the monster" cannot win by vote count. She can only win by usurpation (corruption of the super-delegates). If she rips the nomination from Barak [redacted] Obama, the Dem party will devour itself - blacks will sit out the election. If she does not, she will have damaged Barak [redacted] Obama, by process, to the point of permanent un-electability: game-set-match. Rush is not FOR McCain as much as he is anti-liberal.
du verre cassé
Rush is no Bill Buckley or Ronald Reagan.
Rush is a wonderful ego-driven entertainer--- and good for him. I've enjoyed his performances for years and will probably continue to listen for whatever chuckles I can glean from his performances.
But after all these years as a devoted fan, I now listen to Rush fully aware that none of his predictions or strategies hold up beyond the golden EIB microphone. I listen knowing that Rush lacks the education and political acumen to lead a political movement or promote a viable strategy.
In every life there comes a time to choose to stay a political adolescent or become a grown up. For Rush listeners I hope the moment to embrace the latter has finally arrived.
Rush is not leading anything nor is he helping anyone or anything other than himself.
I hope we all continue to enjoy Rush...as we would any messenger of comedic relief.
In 1994, after the mid-term election, the Woman Republican Congress Freshman gave an award to Rush Limbaugh, with the title, "The majority maker." His influence is nothing with to be trifled. He beat back the political assault of the majority leader of the US senate this year (about the fake veterens) Harry "the war is lost" Reid - and won. Rush is adaept.
It appears you haven’t read his books.
