Texas Republicans will Cancel Each Other
02-03-08 | Shenandoah

I've read a lot of posts on this forum dealing with Texas Republicans crossing over and voting in the Rat primaries. There seems to be two evenly divided camps here; those who want Hillary to win, and those who want Obama to win. If this is the case, then all of those votes will simply cancel each other out.

“My understanding is that you are correct on one point: the fact that you at one time voted in a dem primary might always be laying around in some public record somewhere, ready to haunt you if/when you run for public office. On the other hand, if you guess right and help terminate Hillary, you could always explain that was the REASON you voted Dem. It’ll be a legend by then, and whenever you mention that YOU helped, Republican voters will buy you a beer.”

If you vote for the Dem who ends up in the White House, or even ends up loser to the one who does, the Republicans will spit in the beer.

“I’ve been so mad, I wasn’t going to go, but I think I will so I can help raise H*LL about getting rid of the RINO’s in office. “

Too many people complain about RINOs in office and too few work hard to defeat them in primaries.

Now is our chance - RINOs are running against conservatives in Texas primary races - WHO WILL SHOW UP TO DECIDE THOSE RACES? YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE?

Good for you!! We need to end Hillary! NOW.

Keeping her alive only gives her more opportunities and who knows what will happen -- politics is very unpredictable.

Rush is wrong on this one, IMHO.

I think that it simply immoral to vote for democrats no matter what the so called justification.

I call it striking behind enemy lines.

I have lived in a small town in TX for 35 yers. We have had a Republican Primary only once in that time. We either vote in Democratic Primary or not vote.

Considering that choice, how should I vote?? Do I vote for Hillary or Obama?

Life is just chock full of hypotheticals, isn’t it?

That’s why I’m doing the one pragmatic thing I know I can do with my vote... cast it to help terminate the evil that is Hillary Clintoon.

I have an interesting situation. Didn’t notice my voter id expired 12/31/2007 until I got a notice about my moving (down the street, still in the same precinct) explaining my 30 days to verify my address with Spears.

I didn’t notice the notice until 4 days ago as the mailman stuffed it into the ubiquitous sales flyer we get every week out here in Western Travis Co, North Shore Lake Travis. I only found it as I was tossing my junk mail.

So now I have an expired voter registration, but I am most certainly still on the rolls (got called for jury duty just two weeks ago), and I have this postcard from Nelda showing my new correct address.

Can I show up at my precinct tomorrow and demand a provisional ballot?

Rhetorical question: I know I can (and will), our precinct is rather sleazy.

Yes I am. Don’t know it it’s legal. There are quiet a few small towns that have only Deocratic Primarys.

[I think that it simply immoral to vote for democrats no matter what the so called justification.]

You idealist you. And so am I, I to refuse to vote for any of the three liberals now running as I am a conservative and sick of marxist liberals and rino liberals. George Bush is the last rino I will ever vote for intentionally. This nation is as bad as Sodom and Gomorrah anymore and will fall because of the arrogances and stupidity of the political elite.

Calm down. I’ve already told you several times, there aren’t any conservatives on my ballot. Those two are not.

I notice you sidestepped the question I put to you about a specific candidate. Why?

That’s more than legal. You are still on the rolls.
It’s very hard to get off the rolls.
