I have an interesting situation. Didn’t notice my voter id expired 12/31/2007 until I got a notice about my moving (down the street, still in the same precinct) explaining my 30 days to verify my address with Spears.

I didn’t notice the notice until 4 days ago as the mailman stuffed it into the ubiquitous sales flyer we get every week out here in Western Travis Co, North Shore Lake Travis. I only found it as I was tossing my junk mail.

So now I have an expired voter registration, but I am most certainly still on the rolls (got called for jury duty just two weeks ago), and I have this postcard from Nelda showing my new correct address.

Can I show up at my precinct tomorrow and demand a provisional ballot?

Rhetorical question: I know I can (and will), our precinct is rather sleazy.

That’s more than legal. You are still on the rolls.
It’s very hard to get off the rolls.
