By-the way, has anyone else noticed how everyone is using the work hope in their book titles now? I think it has happened since Pope John Pauls II’s encyclical on hope about ten years ago. Obama took the ideas and ran with it in his “The Audaciousness of Hope” or what ever the title is.

I guess that depends on whether you think of the US-friendly Iraqi government and the Shi’ites who are happy that thanks to the US overthrow of the Ba’athists they can commemorate Imam Hussein’s death without government goons presecuting them, or of the lunatics running the Iranian government when you think of Shi’ites.
