Given his penchant for comparing Republicans to Hitler and using such phrases as "slinging crap" and stating that the Bush presidency "has now devolved into a criminal conspiracy to cover the ass of George W. Bush," you would think that Keith Olbermann, the buffoonish left-wing sportscaster-cum-newsreader would refrain from giving lectures on political civility or the limits of comedy. Not so, however.
On last night's edition of his program, the Obama-supporting anchor was horrified that Jon Stewart, the man he imitates, dared to make a joke about the Illinois Democrat's unusual middle and last names. The hypocrisy is thick enough to cut with a knife and serve—assuming you could stomach it.
Olbermann began the segment comparing Stewart to Ann Coulter (horrors!):
OLBERMANN: If Ann Coulter makes a reference to Barack Obama's middle name and then throws in an allusion to Hitler, most of America cringes appropriately. Jon Stewart does it at the Oscars, it's funny?

This one is too easy. Olbermann is driven by his own ego. He bashed Jon Stewart because the Great Keith Olbermann could not fathom why HE was not invited to host the Oscars. If Olbermann’s Mother had been hosting the Oscar’s, Olbermann would have slammed her. When Olbermann speaks he smirks and tends to pause. I think he does this so that he can take the time to enjoy the sound of his own voice.

So now we know why he will win. He is literally untouchable. You can’t even make a joke about him. SNL comedians and MadTV actors will get death threats for imitating him. I can see it now. Jeez.
I just hear him not long ago bragging that his was the fastest growing cable news show. I guess when your viewership increases from five to ten, that's a 100% growth.
KO should be happy it happened during the Oscars and most of America didn’t see it.

Every time I watch olberboy, he’s stupider than the last time I saw him. I first noticed this years ago when he was a piss-poor sportscaster who thought he was funny. What amazes me is that he can still manage to get stupider and stupider. Apparently, his stupidity is unlimited. Every time I see him I notice something else to dislike. Last time, I was fixated on those stupid little square girly-glasses he wears. They actually took my mind off his greasy hair. What a frigging maroon!
