Barack Obama’s campaign is expressing outrage at a new photo attributed to Clinton campaign sources that depicts the Democratic presidential candidate dressed in Somali garb.
The picture, which appeared at the top of Monday’s Drudge Report, says Clinton staffers circulated the 2006 photo over the weekend. It shows the Illinois senator fitted as a Somali elder, during his visit to northeastern Kenya that was part of a five-country tour of Africa.
“On the very day that Senator Clinton is giving a speech about restoring respect for America in the world, her campaign has engaged in the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering we’ve seen from either party in this election,” Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said.
“This is part of a disturbing pattern that led her county chairs to resign in Iowa, her campaign chairman to resign in New Hampshire, and it’s exactly the kind of divisive politics that turns away Americans of all parties and diminishes respect for America in the world,” Plouffe continued.
According to Drudge, the unnamed Clinton campaign staffer said: “Wouldn’t we be seeing this on the cover of every magazine if it were HRC,” short-hand for the candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Shown the photo by reporters, Bill Clinton’s press secretary said the candidate’s spouse will not have any reaction.

IMO you couldn't get more racist unless he (Ickes) found and released one with Obamna in that tribal garb while holding a spear. And given Ickes record for doing the dirtiest of deeds for the Klintoon's, maybe that's next. That maggot has no bottom as to the depths he'll sink.

If there are other pictures, school essays, letters to former girlfriends, etc., Obama better have a clue that they could surface, because Team Clinton are sure going to find them.

What is the significance of him wearing this? I this exclusive to those who were born Muslims? What is the criteria for him being allowed to wear this obviously sanctioned by the Muslims?
It just seems like this is terribly different than donning a beanie or kimono when visiting other countries as a rep. of the US.
