THE NATIONAL Journal magazine recently ranked Barack Obama as the most liberal senator in 2007
Is he a liberal at heart who tacks occasionally to the center or more of a centrist capable of suppressing leftist instincts when political circumstances demand?... It's telling, at this relatively late stage in the nominating process, that the answers are not clear -- at least not to us.
where is Mr. Obama most comfortable himself? Where would he strive to take the country?
Perhaps, but one could read the record and arrive at a different conclusion. Mr. Obama not only declined to filibuster Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr.; he was initially inclined to vote for him, according to The Post's Perry Bacon Jr. Even in the heat of a primary campaign, he has shown some brief glimmers of divergence from the party line: He dared to mention the notion of "merit pay" in an appearance before the teachers union

He will lead us over the cliff, but I’m not following.
Now that's funny!
We will be considered impotent overseas - I can say that much.
Lower taxes for the low and middle class, with many tax breaks; having those seniors earning under 50,000 a year not pay taxes on social security; only giving corporate tax breaks to businesses which employ people in the USA
Stop earmark programs and make congress responsible for their spending...wanting to make a website where every legislator would have earmarks they want, what they voted for, and etc, in a searchable database for the public to read
Wants a strong military, making sure soldiers have what they need to go into battle and making sure health care facilities are available to them; wants to make sure people have access to affordable health care plans (people would choose own plans and pay premiums) like members of congress have, but would not mandate people have it or force it upon them
Wants to give people a chance to go to college via grants if they promise to dedicate a certain amount of time to community service projects; likes “no child left behind”, but wants to give teachers more local control so they don’t have to ‘teach to the test’
Is young with energy
The answer?
Barack Obama
Now guess who wants this:
The possibility of staying in Iraq for another 100 years
Giving corporations an increase in their tax breaks, regardless of whether they stay in the USA or not; in the meantime he had originally voted against tax breaks for the poor and middle class, saying people shouldn't’t get a break when the country is at war
He thinks one solution to solving the social security problem is to raise the age one can receive benefits
He wants to ‘solve’ the health care crisis by letting people set up medical savings accounts (if they have no money, how are they to do this?); voted to make sure there was no competition allowed in the Medicaid bill
Has usurped the 1st Amendment
Is old and tired
The answer?
John McCain
Barack is still behind Comrade Stalin. He will surely fix that by November.
I really disagree with that, I am reading his first book, “Memories for My Father”...in it he explains how he was exposed to some Black Panther types while working as a community organizer and he did not like what they stood for at all.
You know, years ago I used to do a lot of research type stuff on the FR and now I guess it has become a habit of mine when I want information. The only way to really get knowledge about any of the candidates is to find out for yourself. Look up the Obama website and the McCain website. Read their books, research what they have done or haven’t done.
When you suggest things like “Barack is still behind Comrade Stalin” you should really have links and/or be able to state what reliable resources have led you to be comfortable making that type of remark...that’s all I’m saying.
Have you read books of Stalin?
I see signs of it already.
There are some Really Nice City’s that are controlled by Dem’s. But when you look at the demographics of the City’s you see why.
He will lead us into the toilet, dhimitude, and bankruptcy.
In 52 seconds why Obama can’t win a general election...

Obama pledges to “...slow our development of future combat systems
Roll out the "re-education camps"....Stalin, Pol-Pot, Mao, Kim-Il and Chavez, Castro all applauding.
