Why unite with McCain? He never united with us
Posted on 02/24/2008 10:37:58 AM PST by WyCoKsRepublican
Senator John McRINO aka John McCain is seeking the conservative base to unite with him. Many of us haven't forgotten that he never united with us. Whether it be on his kneepads courting Ted Kennedy or spearheading the ramming of amnesty down our throats, we haven't forgotten. This election offers little or no choice. In the words of Billy Preston "Nothing from Nothing Leaves Nothing."

“That is assuming McCain wins, which is unlikely.”
Take my advice. Do not wager any large amounts of money on Obama or Clinton defeating McCain. Clinton has a less tha 50/50 chance. Obama has no chance whatsoever. You are letting your hatred for McCain cloud objective reality. McCain is the next President.

“Unlike Ann Coulter, McCain supported John Roberts.”
Is this the same Ann Coulter that called Fred Thompson a liberal? LOL She is not to be taken seriously. Her unendorsement of McCain actually increases McCain in my estimation.

Can anyone really tell me the difference between Bush and McCain?
Oh, wait... I know! McCain actually fought in a war.

McCain voted against Bush’s $1.2 trillion medicare prescription drug benefit, the largest entitlement expansion since the Great Society.
If we’re talking about Bushes in general, McCain also voted against bush 41’s “Read my lips” tax increase in 1991. In fact, McCain has never voted for a tax increase.

Examine his record in the last year, or so....to the rest of his career.
You might have a different take..........

“-—Obama has no chance whatsoever.”
I’m interested in your opinion of why you feel that way.

A vote is a terrible thing to waste...(on a democrat).
Believe me, I can identify with all of your pain, about mccain.
McCain does for conservatism what panty hose did for heavy petting...makes it very difficult.
However, the more I read about obama-llama-ding-dong the more I see that letting him become President because of a national pout session again mccain is suicide.
McCain - whatever his true colors - cannot be as bad as either of the dem candidates. obama-llama-ding-dong won't even pledge alligence to the flag; he's a collectivist, a socialist with a entitlement attitude that is going to wreak havoc with America. Starting with his proposed 50% tax hike - which will probably be retroactive back to the first Bush tax cut year.
I'm sorry you're pissed about mccain, but he's the only horse in the race at this point, and if you don't want to vote for him, then vote against obamallamadingdong.
We're down to the less of the two evils...and I've kinda enjoyed America for the past 62-years, and I'd like my kids and grandchildren to know what a lifetime of freedom is also.
McCain knows...he knows we're pissed at him...but he also knows he's in the catbird seat right now, and we may as well roll with the flow to get this 4 years behind us so we can get a real conservative in there next time.
