Give me a bit, I’m off to work. It will take me some time to find my sources again.
Please don’t let me forget!
Thanks, I appreciate it. Feel free to PM me as well.
The “central European” Jews emigrated from the mideast following the destruction of the second temple, but due to genetic laws, and separation from gentiles, they maintained their ethnic continuity to a remarkable degree
Nope. you are WRONG. The Holey Kore-an says that Abraham, Isaac, Noah, Adam, Jesus and others were ALL Muslimss. And the Holey K can not be wrong. There must’ve been some time-slip continuum where the Prophet went back in time and taught these people to be good M’s. This is how Mo discovered that Jesus was not crucified on the cross, but was carried away and replaced by someone else and when Jesus was carried away, he was laughing. You don’t believe me? Infidel!!! Next you’ll say the earth is round when the HAdith says no, it is flat.
Jesus was a Semitic — a group that was related to Arabs, but not Arabs. Technically Arabs are only Bedouins who live in what is now Saudi A. Others, like the Syrians are Arameans, Iraqis are Sumerians and Assyrians, Egyptians are Coptic, libyans, algerians etc. are Berbers. Even Yemenis are more related to Axumites.

Next they’ll be saying that he really did rape Potiphar’s wife, and that she deserved it.
He would have been though of as a Jew. Arabs didn’t come rampaging out of the Arabian peninsula till Mohammeds time. Of course Muslims lay claim to everyone back to Adam as Muslims, including Jesus.
Whachu talking about? Jesus was Italian.
He hung around with the guys, lived with mommy until middle aged, had a girl friend but did not get married, drank wine...
So Jacob, latter renamed Israel, the father of the nation Israel, his favorite child Joseph, is not an Israelite? Where do muslims get their logic from?
What does the word Adam mean? Ruddy... to show blood in the face.. The lineage from Adam to Christ was the protected blood line. Abraham's first son Ishmael is the father of the Arab peoples. Adam's offspring to Noah and his three sons are recorded in Genesis 5.
I imagine it was just that Protestant churches started using artwork depicting a more European-looking Jesus with pale skin, light brown hair and lighter-colored eyes, and that image came with Protestants when they immigrated to the United States in large numbers.
And Jesus did have a British accent - I saw the movie in 8th grade. ;)
I would guess that as missionaries brought Christianity to the northern tribes (Germans Slavs et al) they presented a Jesus that looked like them.
“Jews like all peoples come in a variety of shades.”
Especially if you’ve been conceived by the Holy Spirit
Yeah, that makes alot of sense to me. Not that it really matters what he looked like, or whether certain parts of the mythology were inspired by earlier dieties, or even the role of Mary Magdalan. All that should really matter is the teachings and message of Jesus, which unfortunatly seem to be missing today. But that’s just my viewpoint as someone who doesn’t get involved with organized religion.
