Romney has withdrawn and asked his delegates to support McCain.
I see no evidence to support your bigot comment. Someone with Romney’s liberal record should have never made it out of the first state in a GOP primary.
You voted for exactly what you got, now you got it, now you will live with it.
I find it easier to judge the type of person someone is by how they lead their lives then what religious philosophies they adhere to. That’s my point. I understand yours, I just think we disagree.
We have all read your posts, we are Freepers and have all went to threads where people could produce evidence to the contrary of what you post. If you want to link, link to where both sides are presented.

Is there not one true conservative out there that has any guts at all???
Romney isn’t a conservative.
I’ve reconciled myself that I’ll vote for McCain, if and only if, he chooses a TRUE conservative for VP so that we have a chance of getting a fine candidate in 2012.
You really think so?
Well, shoot, if it's that important, why bother to have an election? Just let King George II declare a national emergency and cancel the whole shebang. That would do it.
The primary reason we have two major political parties is to get their respective candidates elected. The secondary reason is to keep the money flowing to a paid staff of consultants, pundits, pollsters and hangers-on whose loyalty to their party greatly exceeds their fervor for any particular political ideology.
It's becoming increasingly evident that the secondary reason is fast gaining on the primary one, as both the elephants and the donkeys sink into the abyss that consumed their ancestors, the giant lizards and the sabre-toothed tiger, and will some day soon devour what we used to call the three networks.
Even as players in the two major parties become more and more vitriolic in their outrage at one another, the parties' relevance to the real world is becoming less and less important. They couldn't fix a football game, let alone a national election. Furthermore, most Americans don't actually care, as long as they've got movies and sports and cheap (subsidized) daycare for the young-uns.
The tide is running against Republicans this year, whether we like it or not. By 2010, or sooner if Hillary follows Bill's lead, it could well be going back the other way. There's not a whole lot we can do about it, as a party or as individuals.
Especially as a party.
Yeah Mitt. Now you can dispense with the talk about “change”, and not being tied to those in the beltway.
You are a stinking liberal.
You show your true colors now.
I feel acceptance. Acceptance that more people voted for McCain then Mitt.
I still feel that Mitt would make a better cantidate and President then any of the others and I look forward to 4 years from now when Mitt steps up to the plate again to unseat president Bubba the second or Hussien the first.
Since this is an anonymous WRITTEN website you cannot be slandered.
Even it were not, I don’t think you can be slandered by WRITTEN truth.
It is sad that there appears to be a religious litmus test after all the Founding Fathers went through to ensure relgious freedom, and even though some had to rebel to obtain it (Rhode Island, Maryland, Pennsylvania, etc.). Religious freedom should be something we cherish, and something we fight to make broader, not slimmer.
Well the “true conservative” drama queens will be wailing in pain about this no doubt.
Romney is all wrong for many many reasons.
Two of the biggest reasons are, he’s a phony and a fraud.
Payback for West Virginia-I love it!
At the very least, you must recognize that’s how the Mormons here saw Huckabee’s comments to the press.
And if Mormons saw it that way, it’s likely that Romney did as well.
So my question remains - since the only alternative was the guy who said nasty things about his religion, what was he supposed to do except give the delegates to McCain?
I may have. Hillary is the evil I know. I don’t know about Obama. McCain will loose badly to either one.
Message to Huck: Go to “Jesus’ Brother”.
Exactly.
