Face it. It is all but inevitable that McCain win the race for the GOP presidential nominee. Get over it. McCain will be the GOP nominee.
The time for divisive talk about how much you hate McCain for screwing the conservatives and how he is a RINO and his other faults is over. WE are doing NO ONE any good by continuing to publicly air our grievances about him. I know, I have done my share. I don't like him one bit, but he will be a far better president than either of the two 'Rats.
With the atmosphere as anti-McCain as it is, it would not be hard for a liberal posing as another McCain hater to sneak in and keep throwing rocks at that hornet's nest. So let's tone down the rhetoric and the vitriol aimed at him and TRY to find a common ground with him.
McCain, we can hope to influence and guide. Obama and Hitlery will absolutely NOT listen or compromise on any conservative issue.
We know that there is absolutely no way that the 'Rats will make the Bust tax cuts permanent if there is a 'Rat in the WH.
We KNOW that any Supreme Court judge who retires or dies will immediately be replaces with a pro-abortion, anti-gun, anti-freedom liberal; probably from the 9th Circus.
We KNOW that there will be nothing but pure amnesty and absolutely no border enforcement if a 'Rat gets the WH. The 'Rats NEED poor, uneducated, miserable people to advance their socialist agenda.
It is time to stop bickering and hating McCain and stop the postings about how you will sit home and watch Obama or Hitlery become the next president. That is worse than stupidity. It is admitting defeat and quitting.
And I for one will not give up and pout at my home on election day.
So here it is:
McCAIN FOR PRESIDENT!
Here comes another lecture.
I do not know that McCain will do as good of a job at appointing Supreme Court nominees a bush has, but I certainly do assume that he will do a better job at it than Obama or Clinton. Kennedy doesn’t get to appoint.
“At least if the hildabeast or obama get in, we’ll likely be able to get people off their lazy a&*es and vote in a more conservative Congress...”
Won’t be a rebound effect. Too many Gen. Xers. If you think the battle is uphill now, just wait until Obama or Clinton take office.
Every person should have the right to vote as they please. My job is to vote for who I believe is best for America. God will decide who wins. I hope not, but we very well may have to go thru bad times before things get better.
Im a Fredhead that has voted in the caucus who I honestly thought was the most conservative weather he was still running or not. In the Primary I will probably do the same. But come November I will shake off my hard feelings and do what is best for the country.
I will ask myself who would I rather who would I rather turn the military over to,
McCain, Clinton, or Obama?
Two of the above names would destroy the military as an effective fighting force by the sheer number of trained soldiers who would get out as soon as they could. They will be replaced by young people just looking for a job in the poor economy that certainly will come with a quasi-socialist government. Having served in the Navy under Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan I have seen this first hand, the difference in moral. Under Jimmy Carter, FTN was very popular graffiti found on the bulkheads of my ship, the stalls in the heads, and at the top of letters the sailors sent home. Im not going to spell it out but you know what FTN stands for. When Reagan took over this attitude changed and we had pride once again, and re-enlistments went way up, and that foul graffiti disappeared.
If McCain is our nominee, as much as I dislike him I will hold my nose and vote for him for the sake of the military alone.
Then there is The Fairness doctrin which McCain has always been against. Hillary and Obama will surely get that passed.
And the other good thing about McCain is he is a budget hawk. He will do a good job containing wild spending.

And you ae going to vote to give Hillary or Obama the chance to nominate 2 or 3 or more liberal judges. We are on the verge of changing the face of the Supreme Court for a generation to come.
You KNOW that either one of them is guaranteed to appoint judges that will support Roe v Wade. With McCain, the judges he appoints may just overturn Roe v Wade. How many unborn babies will die in a generation or two? Another 40 million? Are you willing to sacrifice them for to salve your conscience?
There is a MUCH bigger picture that you are letting your FEELINGS about McCain block. Think LOGICALLY for a minute and realize just what all a Clinton or Obama would mean.

I volunteer at a Hospital near my home. One of the ladies that I volunteer with is a retired teacher and a die-hard democrat. I was shocked when she told me early this week that if Obama is the nominee that she will vote for McCain.
I think there will be other life-long democrats who feel the same.
If McCain can vote his conscience and principles over the interests of the party, why can’t we do the same thing?
Sorry. I kept getting a proxy error. I didn’t know they were all coming thru.
lol. Hildabast agrees with her friend Juan McCain, she voted for the war and she has said it should continue at least until 2013.
Just one reason of MANY that I don't support McCain, I want the war to end, and unlike your guy, I don't think we should be there for 100 years or 10,000 years.
While not happy about it, should JM become our nominee, I will vote for him.
Our brave military men and women deserve better than McCain, but they be totally destroyed under either Hill or Obama.
For all of you that are standing strong for your convictions, I understand your feelings. However, you have a larger job, and that is to stand behind our military. I mean it, this truly sucks, but look to the larger picture.
MOgirl
How many times must the conservative movemnet be prostituted for the agrandizment of RINO’s before we look into our OWN mirrors, point and yell “WHORE!”
I spent 5 years in the Navy, I am well aware of what FTN stands for. BTW, I was in the Navy ‘81-86. Spent time at Millington and Whidbey Island and the John F Kennedy (’86 Med cruise). Were you ever and of those places?
So for whom do your principles dictate your vote?
Right on. No one should be more sympathetic to doing what they think is right over party interests than John McCain. LOL
Emphasis mine.
Maybe that's the problem.
It has become common, the last several election cycles, for conservatives to hold their noses and vote for candidates who simply DO NOT reflect our beliefs.
It has become common for the national and state GOP parties to know that many conservatives will fall into this trap, and so the party continue to endorse and financially back moderate and liberal RINOs, believing that that is a safer bet on election day.
They will only believe it for as long as we keep falling for it.
This will ONLY stop when we say "ENOUGH." I would rather risk four years of a liberal democrat shoving socialism down my throat than risk having a man calling himself a conservative (!!!!!!!) shove socialism down my throat.
Enough.
Enough.
Enough.
Foolish, campaigns are won in the gut, not in the frontal lobe, either McCain can inspire Conservatives or not.
Huessein has THE most liberal voting record in the Congress, he support Abortion on demand, Gun Grabbing, Higher taxes, and Gay Marriages and will Cut & Run from Iraq in the face of Al quida.
If Mad John is so inept that he cannot motivate Conservatives, then he is a mistake of a Candidate.
Then was he the fascist, the fascist lite, or the Stalinist you were talking about? Obama and Hillary want to turn the US into a copy of Venezuela. Everything is "free" only there is not anything at all.
