Did not see a live thread to keep track of how things were going.
Latest results from VA on the Repub side
Mike Huckabee 12,025 47.85% Precincts Reporting: 169 of 2,472 (6.836% reporting)

Mitt Romney 628 2.49%

And just wait until she files a lawsuit to seat the Florida delegates. I predict a repeat of Chicago ‘68.

Obama is crushing Her Majesty by almost 2 to 1!!!
John McCain now projected winner. Still hope on Huckabee.
McCain has only a 4000 vote lead with 55% counted. How has he already won?
They’re basing it on exit polls and demographics of voters in various regions thus the projection.
CNN calls VA for McCain
chesterfield is mostly suburban, not heavily black. and the state site I’m on just shows zero for both. Also, buchanan county, which someone was bitching about a while back, now has reasonable numbers — c. 60-40 for huck. SOmetimes data entry just goes awry — give it a chance to fix.
Fox news.
McCain 96,844 47% 0
Huckabee 94,353 45% 0

But they still not have counted all of the votes, it appears.
Is this going to be like Washington State, where they STILL HAVE NOT counted the votes?
If it is Michael Barone who is calling it,I would take it to the bank, anyone else, all bets are off.
There just are not enough folks who want to see a brokered convention. Sounded good if only to stop McCain, but looks like it won’t happen.

Third-Party is where I’m heading. I keep waiting for leadership to emerge. I’m looking Constitution Party....but are there any notable conservatives working a 3rd party angle?
I can’t believe it’s come to this. I’ve voted GOP every election of my life. But like Reagan used to say about the Democrats: they left me, I haven’t left them.
Hank
Now McCain is picking up votes faster as the eastern counties of Va report in..
By winning Va he will pick up 63 more delegates..
CNN fellow just said McCain cannot take the Rep vote for granted...Wonder if he’s getting the message..
You’re right. Yet he’s in a helluva spot- if he tries to get US behind him- he’ll lose his natural constituency who brought him to the dance- moderate Dems and Indies...
Going to love watching him squirm.
The Repubs can still take back the House. While I was at CPAC I saw a Washington Times article on the 29 House seats that the Repubs ought to take back, and should. One of those was the District where I am running to take back the seat from Heath Shuler, Democrat, failed NFL quarterback.
The Repubs need a gain of 16 seats to retake the House. I will do 1/16th of that job, if you will help me. Click below for more. Please do it now. I'll file officially by the 28th of February,
Congressman Billybob
