I live very close to Pleasanton. There is a wonderful group called Pleasanton Military Families there which does all kinds of activities to support the troops and their families during deployment. We have wonderful welcome homes organized by PMF for each local serviceman and woman when their deployment is over. The emails go out and as many of us as possible show up - VFW, American Legion, lots of flags, patriotic music and many many citizens. Good community, good area.....Yes, contrary to popular belief there are conservatives in California (though often we feel underground). So no need to throw out the whole state! And thanks to all of you who have come to help us stand up for our military men and women (especially the Marines) to whom we owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude.

I arrived at noon, there were plenty of Cops present. the hippy scum didn’t get anywhere, I took lots of photos, and I got one of Media Benjamin with Her Code Pinko Banner about 100 yards away with no media or cameras. alot of highschool kids were there and I took it to them, I asked who gave them the Cool anti-bush t-shirts? they didnt know, I asked them where they got the Bandannas they had covering their faces? they didnt know, I asked why they werer covering their faces...they didnt even have an answer for that when they couldnt even answer one question I was asking they “devolved into cussing” which I pointed out, then I told them that It was funny that for a bunch of “Non-conformists” they all looked like “Cookie-cutter commies”
I was laughing at them, and Boy were they getting pissed ...
they must have thought they were going to trash bush and not get called on it...It was a great rally. I bought 4 Marine magnetic stickers, and met alot of Great People.
