The boy has been granted asylum because of the threat to his safety in his homeland If this is the definition of an asylum seeker, 2/3 of the world is going to end up in Britain.

Of course there is the side to the story where the mother fully realized what was done to her child was wrong. Perhaps some day this kid will champion the fight against radical Islamic movements. Time will tell.
