Hillary Clinton's most senior advisers are in a state of "panic" about her presidential prospects and are plotting to enlist Democrat leaders in Congress to thwart her rival Barack Obama's ambitions.
--
The Clinton camp hopes to stop the Obama bandwagon by winning Texas and Ohio primaries on March 4, after which Mrs Clinton is planning to call on party grandees including Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives and Harry Reid, the party's leader in the Senate, to persuade Mr Obama to stand down.

Do you really want Osama Obams having the power of the incumbency in 4 year?

I don’t know about you, but I prefer knowing what I have in my hand than not knowing. The Clintons have a shitty record, but at least we know what it entails. We don’t know anything about Obama. That’s dangerous.
Sadly, I fear that is indeed within the realm of possibility. Depending on how confident he feels after months of being slobbered over by the MSM and party bigwigs, it could happen.
Obama’s nose looks healthier than Billy Blythe’s nose.
I have my popcorn and am relishing a good old brawl. Hopefully the black electorate will take note how the RATS treat them as they move on up the political ladder.
From the article re: Osama, er,,,,,,Obama
They now fear that he could pick Colin Powell or former congressman JC Watts, both of whom are African American, as his running mate.
I didn’t read the aricle, just saw this. I read somewhere else that Powell has said he may support the Democratic nominee. I guess I made a wrong assumption. Thanks.
BTW-Don’t sell J.C. short, he’s more than just a black man. He is as charismatic as Obama and from my encounters with him he is very humble. My daughter was born during and OU-NU game. We were behind in the 4th quarter when the delivery time came. We came back & won the game, but I didn’t see it. About 12-15 yrs later my daughter & I got a chance to talk with him at a church dinner. We told him this story and asked what took place in the comeback. He took absolutely no credit at all. He simply said it was a team effort. He is complete class IMO. He also has a great story to tell about his party conversion. He was sent to cover a debate as a journalism student at OU. He realized the republican was the one saying the things that he agreed with...
it’s not all about color. It’s also about fear of power loss. Sheila Jackson I believe is a black American and she’s four square in Hillary’s corner. She said so for the cameras this morning. She’s for Clinton.
Why? Because that’s where Jackson Lee’s power is vested. Not a damn thing to do with color.
McCain > Clinton > Obama
Obama isn’t the moderate he pretends to be. He is a left-wing black nationalist. His antiwar stance wasn’t motivated by pacifism or foresight, but spite for America. Can’t believe Freepers here prefer a President Obama over the alternatives.
Fascinating graph, and it absolutely tells the story of this election cycle: The MSM won the election already, and it hasn’t even taken place yet.
Most battles are won before theyre begun. ~George Patton and Sun Tsu.
Thats the partial truth. The MSM in concert with party politics won. Actually public apathy coupled with a sock puppet distraction or two (Ron Paul) won.
American politics is starting to look eerily similar to Mexican politics.
There is a difference between supporting McCain 100% and voting for the party. To stay home is a vote for socialism. Do I like McCain? NO!!!! Do I think his running mate is important? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree about the mending fences. Actually McCain needs to commit to some new fences down south.
I’m not ready to concede defeat to the Dem party when the primaries are still occurring.
If we get behind the Repub nominee during the general process we CAN defeat both Hillary and Obama. Many on this thread sound defeatist, as if it’s all but over and our choice is between the two Dem candidiates. For those of you who remember what a Clinton presidency was like and do not wish for a repeat, may I suggest that you stand strong against the Dem party?
I believe Powell has endorsed McCain.
Don’t get me wrong - I like Watts a lot. I just think it would look like pandering at this point. Republicans need to put an African American on the ticket when we’re NOT running against a black guy on the dem ticket.
but I think it began in Arkansas, and I also believe that it’s an on-going thing. Perhaps, during a campaign it is more subversive.
