IMHO, if you think Hillary would be bad, you have yet to contemplate the destruction an extreme liberal like Obama will quickly inflict on our nation.

I'd trust that the lack of a filibuster-proof Dem majority in the US Senate would be as much a firewall against Obama's Liberal policies as it was against HillaryCare and other first term Clinton42 policies. I remember watching Phil Gramm's "Over ... my ... cold ... dead ... political body" speech live on C-Span.

Look at it this way: a Clinton44 Presidency would be like Stonewall Jackson at Chancellorsville while an Obama Presidency would probably be a political equivilant of Pickett's charge.

I’m not ready to concede defeat to the Dem party when the primaries are still occurring.

If we get behind the Repub nominee during the general process we CAN defeat both Hillary and Obama. Many on this thread sound defeatist, as if it’s all but over and our choice is between the two Dem candidiates. For those of you who remember what a Clinton presidency was like and do not wish for a repeat, may I suggest that you stand strong against the Dem party?
