The Cauci don't begin until 1pm pacific time, but it's never too early to start a live thread.

I don’t know exactly how it works as this was my 1st one. I was expecting a discussion on the candidates from who we wrote on the sign-up sheet but there wasn’t any (and the guy that was the PCO has been one for at least 2 other elections). As I was starting to leave there was just he and another guy left and I asked him a couple of questions, including what about the voting for candidates and he pointed to the sheet and said that’s who you voted for (Romney). I had envisioned that each precinct had to decide for 1 so I was fully prepared to present and argue my case; however, it never got to that.
For those precincts that didn’t have any delegates (there was at least 1 of I know of) will they just report those as a no vote for the caucus? The folks in that caucus can still vote in the primary which accounts for 51% of the allocation.
McCain third...GREAT, I would so love to see him lose to Paul!
I don’t think McCain or the RNC have any idea how much McCain is HATED!!!! No idea what so ever!
Is that a beer/drink or feeling of your head next day? Never heard of it.
Thunderhead IPA. ;o)
What... you mean in THIS corrupt snake pit of a state? The very same place where Christine Gregoire was allowed to go back to the proverbial well and mysteriously "discover" entirely new bags of yet-uncounted ballots no fewer than THREE SEPARATE TIMES during the last election, until she was (finally) able to claim a "win?"
Good grief... I'm only shocked that they aren't actually torching handfuls of ballots openly on live television, cackling dementedly all the while. ;)
haha thanks for the laugh! I need it tonight!
“Heard a talking head say he cannot get enough delegates to beat McCain at this point. (dunno how true that is or not)”
Karl Rove was on H&C the other night w a white board and showed that even if Romney (who he said was a good number guy) won every state remaining, he wouldn’t get to the total needed; and, since some of the states are not winner take all, McCain would still get some and win. He also did it for Huck and there was even a much larger spread - McCain would still win.
He didn't win here in Colorado, that's for sure.
However, bluebeak, I am innocent on this one. I just reposted what someone else posted...hoping it was true. LOL
Me too,precinct 3304;)
Just shutup.......!! Its my party and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want to!
So, if what you said is what is taking place, they are reporting to the media the "results" from what we wrote on the sign-in sheets, but the people who volunteered to be delegates and whom they said they (or decide later to) will vote for is the actual, real result.
Just as I thought.
Fox now showing Huckabee up 27% to 23% in Washington with 37% counted.
Hat trick for Huck?
Come on Huck baby!!!!!!!
I’d be pleased with that but I don’t think McCain would be too happy!
Huckabee 1,828 27% 0 37% reporting
McCain 1,580 23% 0
Paul 1,400 21% 0
Romney 1,246 18% 0
Uncommitted 742 11% 0
I think that was probably the Dims, they do theirs differently than the Pubbies. Here’s what I just got off the WA Dims web site (now I feel like I need to go take a shower - but I’ll sip my Scotch 1st ;-)
You may have received an absentee ballot for the February 19th Primary. The Primary will not count toward picking the Democratic candidate.
So, it looks like they were all voting today and that’s why their turnout was so large.
Check my Tagline!
Prayers up, anything to beat Jaun McMexico!
Thanks for the update gpapa! I never thought I’d say this, EVER, but I hope Huckabee beats him by a large margin!
Damn, I think found a new name for the jerk!
