Don’t put words in my mouth! I never said that politicians never lie. I just said that the reasons for going to war were not a lie.

"You mentioned Saddam, you do know that we at one time supported Saddam? " *roll eyes* If you post that pic of Saddam and Rummy, I'll be deeply saddened. You're not cluing us in to things previously uncharted.

To bury our heads in the sand and allow our country to be invaded by illegal aliens is sheer stupidity !

No, I'm not an isolationist. You have bought into Bush's neoconservatism, so since you are so far in that direction, anyone who is not with you, in your view, must be an "isolationist" or a leftist. As I already stated, I believe in the just war doctrine and in going by the constitution. That's hardly "fringe." If it is, we might as well throw out the constitution, since from what I'm hearing, only fringe whackos believe in it anymore.
And when I used the term "sovereign nation" I was in no way talking about Saddam, but the country of Iraq, meaning the regular people who had nothing to do with 9/11. Like most people, from the start I have been all for going after those who were responsible for that attack. That would be Osama bin Laden, right? Have we got him yet?

Me... I'm just waiting for the inevitable dark, bearded mutterings about "Bilderbergs" and "foreign banking interests" and [Insert Whatever-the-Current-Justin-Raimondo-Approved-Bit-of-Frothing-Lunacy-

Hey. Online... sometimes, you have to go ahead and make your own fun, y'know? ;)

To bury our heads in the sand and allow our country to be invaded by illegal aliens is sheer stupidity !Amen! Another good post. ;-) And contrary to what many here want to admit, the two are interconnected - having open borders while being in the middle of a "war on terror". It makes zero sense. Sort of like Al Gore flying in private jets and living in mansions while preaching about global warming.

Very good point, we have a constitution, let’s start using it for what it was intended to be. Words to live by.

Turns out Fred was not really a conservative and now for all that anger, you are for McCain.
Pardon my laughter.

Its just all too bizzarro to make sense.
Not after this week! One would have to be in denial not to see it. The choppy ride on this election cycle says it didn't go too smoothly behind the scenes. If the GOP 'chosen' candidate wasn't McCain, it wouldn't have been too obvious - but the worst of the worst makes it to the top and he has no one left to oppose him. Huck did the debating against Mitt, covering McCain. McCain didn't have to break a sweat (or a blood vessel) and won't have to.

McCain didn't have to break a sweat (or a blood vessel) and won't have to. More's the pity. ;)

There’s no one else left for him to endorse. I wish he would have gotten behind Mitt before he dropped out, though.
