“AuntB says she saw Fred with Mccain at a rally over the weekend.”

No, I did not. I said it looked like Fred and wondered if anyone else saw it. I never found anything to back it up.

I have not read the posts yet but my thinking is that Fred did the logical thing in endorsing McCain The fight is over and he was right to withhold his backing until this time. Who McCain and his insider power brokers choose for the Veep slot will determine whether the outcome of this election is favorable to the Republican party. McCain needs a strong person who can bring in states that would not otherwise vote Republican. And he needs a younger, energetic, healthier person than Fred or some of the other oldsters in the party. My vote at this point in time rests on this particular VP selection. I believe these primaries were rigged and Guiliani helped with his non campaign and immediate capitulation in Fla where he had been holding the fort for McCain. I also would not be surprised if Fred helped by his lackluster performance. As far as I am concerned, this is the last chance the power brokers in the party have to come even close to bringing enough voter unity back to win this election.

Yeah, I would be intrested in your thougts on that. I strongly believe we need to fundementally reform the nominating system. We cling to the one we have out of habit, not because it is the best one possible

“What the heck are you talking about?”

This is the final “blend” folks. There are no two parties. They’ve been serving us that new flavor of Kool-Aid that’s new and improved, and fortified with extra measures of socialism, and we all know that’s better for us. They’ve created a gianourmous “BOOGEYMAN” that lurks behind every corner, and keeps us in our place, and ready to give up all of our rights and freedoms to be safe from him. It’s all a big giant scam, and we all bought stock.

Now what are we going to do?

Supposedly Kennedy, Lieberman, Edwards & Feingold are also friends of McCain.

Kennedy-McCain Amnesty legislation

McCain-Edwards-Kennedy Patients’ Bill of Rights

McCain–Feingold Campain Finance Reform

McCain-Lieberman Climate Stewardship Act of 2003

-—So, I haven’t decided, but I might vote for McCain if Thompson were on the ticket.-—

I joined the Costitution Party yesterday. I plan to fight on. There is no way I would ever vote for McCain. To those who were too pure to support anyone but Thompson or Hunter and are now in the bag for McCain I say shame, shame on you!

Nothing. You can fight for the Freedom side of the equation...that’s about it. Communism vs Freedom. That’s what W has been trying to push.Communism has to eliminate all organizations...including religion, it’s a threat.

I think I will be switching to independant. I went and voted for Romney in the Primary here, I really thought he had a great chance.

Now that I’ve stated that out loud (switching) I actually feel a sadness.

“McCain reaches out to conservatives with his idiotic claim that we would be better off with him rather than Hillary or Barak. What that means is that on the top six issues Hillary is wrong on all six while McCain is “only” wrong on five.”

You are so right on target there. If you take a look at a lot of these posts, you’ll see that is the only argument they have.

I cant pull the lever for someone who is just a tad bit less evil. Evil is still evil. And if I did pull that lever for him, God would know what I have done and not be too pleased with me since I knew it was wrong and did it anyway.

I hope that makes sense, lol.

Yeah. For some, it’s a ‘misery wants company’ thing going on. And then attack when we won’t coddle them in their misery and fear of jumping off the fence.
