There never was a perfect candidate in this race on our side, though most of us had our favorite ... and it was never McCain. There is too much at stake here to give it to Hillary by staying home, because staying home not only guarantees her victory ... it pretty much hands the Dems more Senate seats, House seats, governors, state legislatures, etc. The argument that we should let them win so we have a better chance to win next time is totally stupid. The damage they could impose on our republic with a filibuster-proof Senate may not be fixable. Think of all the legislation the Republicans managed to block just in this past year. With a filibuster-proof Senate, we would have surrendered Iraq to the terrorists. Yesterday we would have had a much more expensive "stimulus package." How long will it be before a Dem-controlled congress passes such revolting legislation as hate crime bills that outlaw the honest preaching of the gospel against lifestyles that we consider self-destructive. What about taxes ... how long would it take them to require 2/3 majority to lower any taxes, to raise taxes on everything from gasoline to cigs. A thousand other things would come to mind that would rip this country apart.

And there is no telling what measures they will take while they are in total control ... to ensure they remain in control always.

I’ve “been around” for more years than some people can count. I’ve seen Presidents screw-up...I’ve presidents wreck the economy and everything else they touched....I’ve seen Presidents do okay, and I’ve seen Presidents do great.

The O N L Y thing that matters, HOWEVER we might feel is KEEP THE LIBERAL OUT OF THE WHITEHOUSE - IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

The only hope, as much as we (me included) DON’T LIKE IT, there’ll only be two choices this fall.
