I just did it again, too. Everyone has this personal anger at McCain that is from specific issues when he frankly pissed us off. I can hate his positions on those as much as anyone. I could lead a stop McCain drive just on the ANWR issue if I wanted to, I feel that strongly.

But the context is different now. I can't just seethe over ANWR or the other issues without examining his record on all issues, and his stated campaign positions.

We (as Americans) can't afford to ignore that McCain wants to WIN the war, oppses entitlements, will extend the tax cuts, appoint conservative judges, WIN the WOT, prevent universal government health care, support gun rights, oppose abortion, cut taxes for corporations, extend the Bush tax cuts.

I respectfully submit these are more important than the ones we disagree with him on, AND remind you that Hilary/Obams will do the exact opposite on all of these. That is reality and we need to vote in the end after examining that reality.

I am at ground zero of the border issues here in San Diego
I would like to see McCain have a different policy on the
border issues

BUT.....

Lets get real folks. Economy, social policies, etc, mean nothing if the IslamOfascist hit us again and take over which is not out of the realm of reality.

McCain has the policy we who are conservatives have been supporting. He wants to win the war. He supports the Generals, and troops.
McCain has a son at the Naval Academy and a son who went
through training at Marine Corp Recruit Depot, San Diego
and is a Marine in Iraq.

He is also pro life.

If we don’t like McCain’s border policy, we sure in hell won’t like Obama’s or Hitlery’s.
Plus they will take out troops out of Iraq ASAP to be taken over by the IslamOfascists.

Everything we hate, Obma and Hitlery are the opposit.

There will be no next election if the Democrats get in.
This is our last chance.

Actions speak louder than words. For some of us.

Every professional politican, with the exception of perhaps Tom Delay, will fall in line.

“Soon many nay-sayers will fall in line as well.”

Not THIS conservative. In fact, I’d be happy to campaign against him, if I only had someone to campaign FOR....

"Something nasty is in, and I am not feeling like the United States of America has truly free elections at this point."

More and more people are beginning to notice that the guys behind the curtain are pulling the strings of all the puppets and the outcome is going to be the same no matter who you vote for, or whether you vote or not. It's a done deal.

yes - I heard the clip on him saying he didn’t like judges like Alito who wear their conservatism on their sleeve.

McLame wears his conservatism on his underwear so he can’t piss and crap on it.

McCain is CFR’s man. He’s a member.

The Council on Foreign Relations is where the Elites gather. They want open borders (slaves), everyone besides themselves on the same economic level and the rule of international law.

You can also bet their trying to find some way to disarm us, cease our sovereignty and destroy our Constitution.

They have all the power and money in the world to FIX elections.

Makes plenty of sense to me.

You McCainbots are doing yourselves no favors coming here and screaming insults at people whose votes you are going to need in Nov. The reason McCain’s speech was received so poorly here is we know his record. You are telling us to ignore that and believe the words. Well most of us are old enough to know you NEVER trust the words of a politician.

Look, you McCainbots aren’t doing yourselves any favors. All you are doing is keeping the wounds open by reminding people why they do not trust McCain. Your best tactics at this point is simply walk away for awhile. Give the Conservatives time and space to adjust to the fact that the Republicans really are running a pro tax hike 20% Conservative as their candidate. Doubtlessly between now and Nov the Democrat candidates will do much to scare Conservatives onto McCain’s side.

You got 9 months to win us over. Don’t try pushing him right now. It is just pissing us off.

Yep, and a pathetic little carrot it is. We’ll do amnesty once we have a “consensus” that the border is secure. Much mischief lies in the word “consensus,” as we know from the globull warming debate.

The guy that says nothing in his speeches....or the guy that says the wrong things?

“We’ll probably get some reports from actual attendees over the next day or two. But there were only a hundred or so making all the noise. You could almost hear the same few voices over and over, cheering pretty loudly.”

I’ll be willing to wait for the reports from actual attendees. I’ll be interested to see how they cleared the room of the folks cheering for Mitt Romney and filled it with folks cheering for John McCain. It was also very politically asute of the McCain ringers to boo him over illegal immigration but cheer him on every thing else.

I am so there.

So,

1. We have the she-witch Marxist who’ll kill, say or do anything to get elected, ruthless mafia lesbian, supposed wife to an ex-Prez that likes to shake his finger at the general populous and sell off whatever valuables the US has to China or the highest bidder. Known for her temper, she has illegal FBI files, illegal Whitewater files, illegal whatever to blackmail whomever she chooses to focus on at the moment. But she actually spends a few dollars of her own ill-gotten money on her own campaign. Maybe some of the White House antiques or china she stole as the 1st “Lady” (used sarcastically here) were sold for this purposes. Or maybe this is what Ron Paul/Stan Lee Media’s money was grabbed for, or Hsu, or the Chinese, or the Birthday Party, or take your pick.

2. We have the 1/2 black 1/2 white candidate who came to power through an Illinois election that ran off a Republican candidate because his wife didn’t like going to a club in Paris with him, although she now lives in France, is married to a chef, and now has a little girl. Backed with Soros money, the man went to a madrassa as a child, grew up in Hawaii, and is 1st cousin to the moslem opposition leader in Kenya whose group is causing all the bloodshed there now; the man retains no influence from his madrassa days, is a member of a racist church, has received support from blacks and old school politicians, has made earlier comments about how evil whites are, and has left unvoted bills which would demonstrate his position to the public. The man is noted to be hard left, perhaps communist, but definitely socialist/marxist.

Then we have a teetering older candidate with a legendary temper, whose claim to fame is as a military hostage over 35 years ago. This man worked to foil conservative judgeships, legislate an anything goes campaign financing law, ammesty law, pro-choice, etc....and came back from NOWHERE-having lost financial support and campaign staff to rival campaigns. Claiming membership to an alternative to lockstep marxism, the man says conservative evangelicals are foul, but wants to have them work with/come to him.

Then there’s a tagalong conservative former governor, whose votes for delegates trail at the back of the pack, no matter his politics.

We are so F*!@?d

"OK, one was the speech of a winner and one was the speech of a loser."

You make my point. You Mc-Bots are blind to the truth and in no way objective about what has really happened. Enjoy your Nov. disaster.

BTW, You got it reversed. The last speech was one made by a loser (Not yet revealed) and the first one (Romney's) was the one McCain should have given but is incapable of ever giving.

Good Day
