No articles on here, I apologize. I just wanted to bring a little bit of opinionated discussion in at this point, now that we stand on the brink of setting American back 4-8 years...
The conservative candidates are out of race, and it looks like it's McCain or bust. How many of you will close your eyes and vote for McCrazy over Obama or Hillary, in order to do minimal damage to America over the next preidential term...and how many of you will sit home and watch the sky fall?
Personally, I'll do just about anything to keep the Clintons at bay, including vote for John McCain.
I held my nose and voted for Bob Dole. No way am I going to feel so ashamed again. I will vote...I will write in.
"If you were swimming in a river of urine, and somebody threw a bucket of pus at you, would you duck (still vote for McCain)?"
That’s a very interesting point...as interesting as the turnout of opinions on this thread.
On a rough estimate, I would say more than half, perhaps as much as sixty percent of the folks who replied here would not vote for McCain, whether the alternative be staying home or voting third party.
That scares me. It’s a nasty situation no matter how you look at it.
Right on!!!

LOL! Doing the voting for nasty megalomaniacs that Americans won't do.
And doing it for less than $50 per election!
Mr. niteowl77
Exactly. I think stopping the Beast is a National Emergency. Code Red!!!
Bob Motherlovin' ROSS.
Oh please! The bottom line FACT is that if conservatives had enough numbers to vote in a candidate of their choice, that person would be the nominee. The facts don't lie. We don't have the numbers and throwing tantrums, holding our breath, blaming space aliens, the Illuminati, etc., etc., won't change that.
Question back, what if he picks a conservative VP?
Freepers, I want to know what you think.
The Conservative Wing of the Republican Party has been utterly destroyed by President Bush.
When did it happen? If I had to point to a date when the conservative movement was murdered, in cold blood, I’d point to October 3, 2005. That was the day Conservativism died at the hands of our President. After two and a half years, I’ve still not gotten the knife out of my back.
I won’t vote for McCain - I’m warming to the idea of pulling the lever for a Democrat, if I voted for McCain I’d be voting for a Democrat anyway... why not swallow the bitter pill and jump in head first. Although, I think I’ll need a poll-worker assisting to actually get the lever down on Hillary.
The GOP doesn’t deserve this election - we’ve failed the American People on almost every issue.
Gay marriage, tax rebates to those that don’t pay taxes, universal health care, weak national security ... here it all comes and we’re powerless to stop it.
God Bless America... I hope. Otherwise, we’re @#$$$#!.
I’ve got nine months to see what shakes out. No commitment here. I voted for Romney at the last minute to block McAmnesty. If McAmnesty gets irrational and all touchy feely with liberals, I don’t know if I could vote for him even with a gas mask!
Nope. Not me.
Two opinions that may or may not be correct.
Mr. niteowl77
From now on, only going to vote FOR candidates.
Either candidates will earn my vote, or I leave the lever to collect dust.
Really? When did McCain call for withdrawal from Iraq? When did he call for nationalized healthcare, or eliminating the cap on payroll taxes? Did I miss something???
If it’s McLame vs Hillary (short of an abject McLame apology for Kennedy-McLame), I sit it out. If it’s McLame vs Obama, I hold my nose and vote for McLame, since I’ve already seen what black leadership has done to America’s cities and would like to spare our country the same Third World fate.
He had a mcacacacain moment.

J. Fred Muggs for president...screw mcpain
