“And just minutes ago, McCains campaign put out word that the Arizona senator would be picking up a major endorsement at this evenings Baltimore County Republican Lincoln Day Dinner.”
Probably Thompson and Romney. Huckabee already endorses McCain.

My purse is closed. My vote will go for an independent or for a write in candidate by the name of “Daffy Duck.”

He already did. His entire reason for withdrawing was to save America by ensuring that the surrender monkeys Hillary or Obama don’t win the presidency. He sacrificed himself to stop the infighting and to try to get us all to fully support the eventual Republican candidate, John McCain. Great move but that’s gonna be a tough order to fill.

Why not?
Politically, Romney is just a self-controlled version of John McCain's liberalism.

The irony of all ironies would be if Willard endorsed McCain BEFORE Fred Thompson, since it was Team Romney that ceasely spread the unfounded rumor that Fred would withdraw and immediately back McCain.
I shall watch keenly for developments.

No actually there is a real war, but this silly conservatives hissy fit isn't one. The real one is halfway around the world where evil men are trying to kill our sons and brothers as we speak.
No sense of proportion, no judgment, no principles. If this is conservatism, what would neurosis look like?

I would consider voting for McCain with Thompson as running mate. McCain will only serve one term and a conservative like Thompson would tone down the bad effects of a McCain presidency. Under NO circumstance should we bow down to Hillobama!
