Fox news just reported that Mark Halprin [sic], from Time Magazine, has information that Mitt Romney will be ending his campaign sometime today.
I guess this means that McCain’s poodle should be dropping out of the race shortly after this. His mission is accomplished and he is receiving lavish praise from McCain...
Well, he had to go through Super Tues and wait for exactly how all the California delegates fell yesterday, etc. Then it was likely "wait and see" if Huck would possibly drop, so some soul searching, etc.
Guess I'll be voting 3rd party this year for the 1st time in a looooonnnnggggg time.
I think it would be cool as hell if Romney had his people feed a false story just to burn Mark Halperin.
Find his voice... He was about as real a Conservative as his hair was.
Mitt should throw his delegate to McCain to thwart Huck’s back door attempt at VP!!
Say it ain’t so!
Typo
>>I was not a Huckabee supporter.<<
Should have read
I was not a Romney supporter.
No use throwing good money after bad. Thanks for trying, Governor.
Not good news-i wanted Thompson-he’s out-I voted Romney-not my favorite-but still acceptable. Now i’m beating my head against the wall(rhetorically)trying to figure out how we’ve ended up with someone like McCain as our frontrunner.......
It was already clear that he could only win the nomination if McCain dropped out of the race.
It would be nice, given the possibility that McCain could keel over at any time, if he was around.
But on the other hand, it might also be nice to put to bed the “Huckabee would win if Romney just dropped out” discussion once and for all.
Huckabee should have dropped out, Romney is much closer to McCain and if Huckabee really cared about conservative values, he’d see that stopping McCain was the most important thing.
But now Romney, who previously backed off in South Carolina giving Fred Thompson a chance, now appears to be backing off to give Huckabee a chance, even though Huckabee has no chance at all.
I wish it weren’t. Watching Halprin right now. He’s exceedingly confident of his accuracy in this.
As someone else put it.
How much gold did he spend to get all those silver and bronze?
Exactly.
I would think that McCain’s wife Cindy is spiking his prune juice with vicodin every morning.
Cry me a river, build a bridge and GET OVER IT.
Will Huckster continue the pretense of being a challenger, rather than collaborator?
I’m still not voting for McCain.
Or Huckabee.
“Back to the one-party system.”
Back to it?
Go Obama!
