Our first choice, Rudy Giuliani, did not win. He ran a campaign with a risky strategy and it didn't work. But our number two choice did win...John McCain. McCain came in second in a survey of our membership.
While he is personally "pro life" he has time and again reached out and worked with people across the spectrum. We know we can work with him to create common ground that will allow moderates and conservatives to come together to rebuild the GOP.
RFC joins with Rudy Giuliani in asking our supporters to consider McCain as they go to vote over the next few weeks.
John is a true American hero with strong and consistent values. He will provide the leadership that will rebuild America's confidence in itself and among our allies worldwide.
The GOP had the Senate and House and lost them through big government excesses.
What matters for this election. Is the USSC. There are 7 members over 70.
You really want Clinton to replace them? Havent we had enough legal murder in this country?
Any of you who do not vote for McCain if he is the nominee are tacitly supporting continued abortion in this country.

Uh, well... er... ah, it's like this...
Mr. niteowl77
Google Romney and Planned Parenthood and what jumps out is how many times “Gov. Romney was unaware” or “Romney forgot”. This guy is either plumb dumb or a borderline amnesiac.
what a shock. I wonder why they didn’t endorse Mitt. (hint: he isn’t pro-abort)
The irony is rich
Bump for future reference if JimRob decides to support McQueeg.
McPain will cherish this endorsement from a bunch of fellow RINO’s whose “choice” is to murder, or not to murder (with the former alternative pushed as the more desireable). La Raza will be the next feather in his dunce cap. Kiddies, can you spell “Kiss of Death”?
Writing in the current issue of the National Catholic Register , Brownback called McCain "the best pro-life candidate to win in 2008."
By golly, I'm suddenly impressed by John McCain: it turns out that on abortion, he's a uniter, not a divider.
Mr. niteowl77
"HA-HA-HA Huckabee voters, duped again, not to worry, Hillary cares about you"He brought hope.
... and fried squirrel.
Not a surprise. McCain has no strong religious or moral convictions. He will do whatever the MSM leans on him to do. If he was capable of betraying his fellow POW/MIAs, if he was capable of dumping his faithful wife and marrying a beer heiress, if he was capable of joining the Keating 5, if he was capable of making a deal with clinton to call off the DEA after his wife stole drugs from her nonprofit, if he was capable to selling out his country to illegals, then he will certainly be capable of pulling a Mario Cuomo and saying, “I am personally opposed to abortion, BUT . . . .”
With McCain, there is no moral bedrock.
Ditto for the queer Log Cabin Republicans who also are going for McLame-brain.
“Bump for future reference if JimRob decides to support McQueeg.”
Ain’t gonna happen.
I'm not sure there's even moral sand.
This must be the "reach out to conservatives" that McCain was babbling about last night. LOL!

Maybe we can get NARAL to help defeat John McCain. They don't like him much.
I am sure they will along with the New York Times and every liberal commentator that endorced him and told Republicans he was ‘the electable’ one.
