When they had the Heartbreaker Heart get driven through by the Electric Guitar you knew it was going to be good. Tom Petty is a perfectionist and it showed. I really enjoyed it. he was pretty good. Better than the last bunch of losers they have been putting up there for the last number of years.
I am SO happy for the Giants. The doubt of the fans, the media's bitching, the lack of respect for the coach and Eli... Good for them. And the fact that they ruined the Patriots' perfect season made it all the better.

Arrogant???!! Since when?? Did you hear one negative comment about the Gnats in the last 2 weeks?!? C’mon - the Gnats beat the Pats. It was the Pats to lose and they did.
I don’t buy arrogant. Joe Namath was arrogant.
Sheesh...

That reading of the Declaration of Independence
was stirring .. just beautiful. Did you happen
to catch who the blonde lady was? I wonder
what her football connection is.

The Giants win was just fantastic! Archies sons, Payton and Eli have now each won a Super Bowl. This was Archies dream. But there is an ultimate dream. The Colts vs Giants in the Super Bowl with both sons at quarterback. That is why Eli would not accept going to the Chargers when they drafted him. The Chargers were in the same conference as the Colts. Looks like their plan is working! And good for them!
If the Colts could have defeated the Pats it could have very well happened this year.

I’m still in euphoric over the giants victory. I didn’t think they were mentally tough enough to win the big one. And for most of the game I thought I was right. Interference in the end zone, smith causing an interception, blackburn on the field on fourth down. They made so many stupid mistakes. And yet with the help of a miracle catch by tyree, they still won the game. And now players I detested like Eli, are my heroes for life. And Coughlin, I was calling for his firing last year, now has a job for the next 20 years with the G-Men.
23-17 was the Burress prediction. Who who have thought he overestimated that pats production. The greatest defensive effort in the history of the superbowl, Spagnola God bless and I wish you well as the Washington head coach.
As for the pats, as wee look back over the second half of the year, the offensive production tailed off and they had some real close losses. Against a wounded San Diego team, at home, they barely won. So maybe we all should have seen this coming.
So to conclude I’ve never been so happy to have been so wrong. The G-Men physically dominated the pats, which allowed them to overcome their stupid mistakes. And in the end Manning, Tyree and Burrress got it done. They’re the best team in the NFL and right now. And with all those rookies like boss and Smith and Ross coming through. I’m already thinking repeat.

All the mouths on ESPN did. Ditka was the only one that picked the G men.

Tiki kept saying at the end of last season and into the playoffs (paraphrased) that he was OK with what he had accomplished and essentially if they didn’t win, that he wouldn’t be broken up over it.
One wonders what’s going through his head right now.

Cooper has done great. What I remember the most about Cooper is that he weighed 14 pounds when he was born.
