game show is on!!!!
[Deep, Max Larynx voice]: The game will be won in the trenches and will depend whether the Pats establish the run and prevent the Giants pass rush from distracting the Patriot quarterback.
In before Ernie Adams.

As it always is but is rarely given it's fair attention on SportsCenter.
That's a hell of a lot better than listening to Aikmen and Buck.
Wildcats In Wonderland: 3 UA players back to play in Super Bowl XLII
While Tedy Bruschi was happy to be in Arizona again, the ex-Cat wasn’t as pleased with practicing at Sun Devil stadium.
“After we practiced,” Bruschi said. “I went into their home side because they let us use their weight room, and I mean, I know about Sparky, and all the Sparkys, and I was actually doing some lifts and there is this 30 foot painting of Sparky... I had to sort of look away.”
Yet, he found some comfort in the locker-room of his arch-rival.
“I walked by the hallway of past players and I said, ‘I sacked that player, tackled him, forced a fumble on that guy,’ so I had a little bit of fun with it.”
While this is Bruschi’s 4th trip in seven seasons, it’s all brand-new to Giants rookie Michael Johnson.
“Arizona’s the greatest place to play this game, especially this time of year,” said the Arizona alum. “I don’t think it looks like this anywhere else in the country this time of year, I feel good to be here.”
Also with New York, another one of those linebackers in the lineage of the U of A, Antonio Pierce.
“Basically, I think all our guys in the NFL are linebackers from the U of A. You got me, Bruschi, Briggs, Polk,” says Pierce. “Arizona loves their defense. Hopefully that can continue on.”
And while both teams can’t win on Sunday, at least the three got to come home again.
“I had the feeling , even getting on the plane,” says Bruschi, going for his 4th Super Bowl ring. “I had the familiar feeling with getting on a plane and going to Arizona, but I’m bringing my team with me and that’s cool.”
Hey if not for the Super Bowl and Rocky movies Roman numerals might have disappeared forever.
Somebody’s a little bit anxious for the game to start, eh? :-)
Well I figured I’d get a jump on the SB thread before a few hundred other ones get started.
Can they both lose?
GO PATRIOTS!
I’m not a Pats fan, but I hate the Giants. They beat Green Bay (who I liked), so I hope the Pats kick their butts.
Wow. We’re almost there. Go Pats!
