The Pats have lost three big ones now...not zero
And he’s a liberal. I’d expect that out of a reporter or college professor, but most coaches are at least reasonably conservative.
I think I’m going to go on record in agreement with both those statements.
Hey there - catching up on some pings - yes, “Eli, Eli, Eli”...loved it.
Bull. His rants and complaining about Tom last season were everywhere. It was a divided locker room with him being the ring leader. And then this year, saying he’d unretire if Tom was fired? Yeah, this team is much better without him.
So, if you’re an underdog, this gives everyone new hope ?
Barak, Romney?
One other thing...Congratulations to the New York GIants, now let it be the ONLY thing that wins this year from NY!!!
It’s a great song!
Wrong. TIED for the best record ever with the 1984 San Francisco 49ers and 1985 Chicago Bears...who have a ring at the end. The Pats are 18-1 with NO ring. So...if having a ring breaks the tie...then NOT the best record ever.
I think the biggest mistake Belichick made was when it was first and goal at the 7, he should have run the ball a couple of times to run the clock down and force the Giants to use time outs.
The worst case scenario is the giants stop the Pats and the Pats kick a FG to tie.
Did you happen to see the New Years Day hockey game in Buffalo? Same blizzard conditions! It was awesome to watch and I normally have no interest in hockey.
Yes that catch was totally incredible....but wouldn’t have happened unless Eli had pulled free from what looked like a certain sack. They are all responsible for the great Giants victory.
Who went to four straight? Certainly not the Pats, who went to Super Bowls in '02, '04, '05, and '08.
Those 85 Bears were one tough team! The Jints 86 march to their first Supe started in the lockerroom in Chicago after the Bears beat them in the play-offs.
That was a great game. I enjoyed it. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was hoping and praying that Eli could do it, and he did! The best part of the game was in that final Giants TD drive when Eli was almost sacked, but he pulled out of the sack to get the first down. I liked when they flashed to Peyton in the box. You could tell he was so proud of his little brother. The media never gave Eli and the Giants a chance, picking against them every week. They came up and surprised the world.
I was so sick of hearing about the Patriots. They are such an arrogant bunch. They made it through the entire season without losing a game, but they lost the game that matters most. Karma sucks. That’s what they get for cheating.
Ha ha....
