Give it a rest. There was one bleeping second left. The game was over. The only thing I’m going to enjoy about the off season is not having to listen to the rants of Patriot-haters for another six months.

Is Manhattan on fire yet? Or should we be worried about New Jersey.

You wonder what Archie could have done if he had played for any other team except the Aints. Or the Lions.

Are you kidding me? He ran through the defense at the end and was a finger tip of a pass away from setting the Pats up on the Giants 10 yard line with 8 seconds left.
Sooooo close.
yet so far.

Dolphins still the only NFL team with an undefeated season.
To: FJB2
I would agree with you except for that last drive that won it for the Giants. Eli did that.
Maybe since they couldn’t award MVP to the entire defense, they gave it to Eli.

CONGRATULATIONS, GIANTS AND FANS! Your guys played a helluva game. Yes, absolutely. And thanks for an unusually exciting Super Bowl.
To: Freedom'sWorthIt
Glad to see Eli come into his own. Loved the crowd chanting, ‘Eli! Eli! Eli!’

That's what I like ... I was at the game in '72 when Griese was carried out on a stretcher with a broken leg. Had to be given a Valium to calm down .. LOL. YAY, Dolphins! The winningest team in football history .. still.

did the 2 announcers mention no handshake at midfield after the game or just that belicheck ran off early?Flaglady47 in post 1949 said that Belichik congratulated Coughlin before leaving.
To: marajade
And dang, Coughlin was tough. After showing his toughness in sub zero weather at Green Bay I think the football gods decided Coughlin is their kind of football guy.
To: austinaero
I think that was my favorite play of the game! Besides the winning TD, of course.
To: dfwgator
wish we could have won when he was here!
