OFFICIAL FR SUPER BOWL XLII LIVE THREAD
NEW YORK GIANTS VS NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Sunday February 3, 2008
At University of Phoenix Stadium
Glendale, AZ
6:17PM ET
TV Network: FOX
As a Giants fan, I have to say that Moss did as good as he could given what he had to work with. The Giants D was just a bit too overwhelming for the Pats line and Brady. Moss did great.
Eli Manning - MVP. Way to go ELI....that last drive was absolutely unbelievable....showed his competitiveness and determination. And he could run. Way to go, Eli!!!
Sheesh, as soon as I post that, they show him.
did the 2 announcers mention no handshake at midfield after the game or just that belicheck ran off early?
Yup! I’ve been tellin folks the same thing, if the Giant’s D got a hold of him a couple times and used him like a post-hole digger, he wouldn’t be able to perform at top speed...
I asked about him earlier. Is he there?
Where is Eli’s dad?
Manning MVP
And back to back MVPs.
except he didn’t play hard at the end.
NYG won it, I can not believe that the Pats could be so full of themselves.......
Michael Strahan. Tell ‘em how it is, Mike!
It shows lack of class and poor sportsmanship. I'm not a bit surprised Belichek left like that.
Without a doubt. The D line won that game. That and David Tyree's great catch.
The only other game Brady had that much pressure was the Raven's game but the Giants took the pass rush to a new level tonight. Very impressive.
Had to stay with the ball. Let me see, it’s your point that Moss didn’t play to his fullest extent?
Oops.
Can you imagine the legacy Eli has had to play behind all his life? Wow. I’m happy for him!
On the Pats TD drive their guys were falling over on the sidelines. It is very difficult for D-Linemen to do nothing but pass rush inside a domw. Those motors will burn out at some point.
The guy who got beat for a sack is a career back up.
Manning deservedly won it for that play on the winning drive when he eluded the sack and got the 35-yard completion.
Belicheck went out and greeted him with 1 second left, then left the field.
