That’s South Carolina’s honorable Senator, not the squishy, treasonous stupid liberal Republican idiot that is John McCain’s foot slave and lapdog. Good for him. Another suggestion: let Berkeley and San Fransicko pay for its own “military” defense and not take our hard earned money to defend their warped and twisted left-wing cesspool. They can form the 69th Lesbian/Gay Looney Tunes Brigade with bull dyke recruits and face off against mass murdering Islamic terrorists wearing pink uniforms and guns that shoot daisies for all I care.
Agreed. But the locals still need our military presence. It’s good for their psyches to see tough guys in uniforms who won’t run away from the likes of Code Pink.

Second, the President should pass an executive order that no city, county or State will deny the military access to facilities for recruiting purposes. Second part of the order is that to deny access will be an act of treason subject to prison. Any interference by any person or organization, those will be charges with treason and subject to prison.
It concerns the ability for the Nation to protect as specified in the Constitution.
I called my Senators here in Connecticut and my Congressman and said SUPPORT JIM DEMINT —— NO FEDERAL MONEY FOR BERKELEY!
Oooooo, now THAT’S sinister.
I LIKE IT!
But — back in the real world — there’s a neighboring community named “Emeryville” that you may have heard of. [Hello?? PIXAR??] The place is bustin’ out bigtime. They haven’t got a great deal of real estate, but they’re makin’ the most of it with a whole lot of new businesses, and rennovation.
So, here’s the plan:
We all take EVERY DOLLAR we’d ever thought we might spend in Berkeley, and drive the extra couple of miles to Emeryville to spend it, instead. Berkeley businesses board up; Emeryville booms. Jobs move to Emeryville, which is close enough that the workers who have them now, will still have them after they move.
Just put an economic chokehold on Berkeley and push all of that commerce across the city line into Emeryville. Once Emeryville starts to max out, we’ll leak over into San Pablo, and Richmond. Berkeley could become an economic wasteland surrounded by a ring of thriving communities.
It's quite NSFW, but if you want to see just how sick looking these people are, it's in the left sidebar over there. Communists, naked people, costumed freaks...disturbed people all.
Zombie's captions are hilarious, especially the one about the bunny...
Oh, by the way I called Berkeley’s mayor at TEL: (510) 981-7100
and I left a message because they don’t have the you know what to answer the phone and told them that I asked by Senators and Congressman not to give federal money to Berkeley!
Makes sense to me. If they don’t want part of the gubmint, they don’t want none of the gubmint...
Romney/Demint
Military occupation of that city would be an excellent idea, but I'd really rather not subject our soldiers to needless hardship.
Beserkeley Ping!
Looks like Sen. DeMint is going to find out. :-)
Make it into Ft. Apache.
I sent this e-mail to the Berkeley Council. YOU CAN CONTACT THEM TO BUT TRY TO MAKE LEGITIMATE ARGUMENTS INSTEAD OF INSULTS. USE THE LIST OF EMAILS BELOW

It is not right to try and drive out or make it difficult for federal operations to take place in your town. You are not experts on foreign policy and are not privy to any special information that makes you qualified to make you sophomoric and arrogant pronouncements on how our foreign policy should be conducted or how federal business should occur.
Until I see you consulting with military leaders and
receiving the same access to information that the president and members of Congress gets you should stay out of your idiotic attempts to interfere with federal military recruiting and your attempts to advise the federal government from your position of ignorance.

Way to go, Jim!!
Good Idea....
Please e-mail these Berkeley City Council loons and tell them nicely and intelligently what idiots they are:

From one old jarhead I say Semper Fi to you Senator DeMint. Don’t worry everyone, this is the Marine Corps we’re talking about. They are not going to let a bunch of limp wristed panty waists tell them what to do. That Recruiting station is going nowhere. Though the Recruiters might want to put in for combat pay. Sounds like they’re earning it.
