she seemed pretty convincing on the video as opposed to just reading the transcripts. Time will tell.

What Newt said was that the Huckster could be a major factor because he didn't think McCain would be over the top in the number of required delegates...after super Tuesday....Huckster would have enough to put one or the other over the top...so (my thought) could we have a McCain / Huckster /Ticket,...in November....UGH!

I mean,..why else is the Huckster staying in the race.?

I’ve seen Ann “excited” before, but never this serious and to the point. That she hates McCain she does not conceal. That she knows enough about him to hate him and want to defeat his candidacy is also clear. She was absolutely FABULOUS!

I'll second that!

“Earthdweller” is a liberal and a McCain operative.

With the hots for Ann.

Of course I’ve read you tagline. I also read your link. And I’ve read your posts that have overwhelmingly focused on attacking Romney while generally giving McCain a pass.

I just can’t for the life of me see where you’re coming from here. And I’ve always had a good deal of regard for you over the years.

Romney signed a new assault weapons ban as governor. That bill also extended the length of concealed carry licenses from four to six years or some such. I still don’t think you trade off a class of weapons to get two years on your permits.

Out of 280 to 300 million people in our nation, assault weapons have probably been responsibe for less than 20 deaths over the last ten years. Why should they be banned?

Thanks, Ernest. I know, that darn Huckster. Here's what Rush said:

RUSH: Well, but it's a delegate thing. The popular vote right now doesn't matter, it's a delegate thing and that's why right now Super Tuesday -- I mean Hugh Hewitt ran some numbers here, worst-case scenario from Romney, just to be fair about it, and these numbers, I'm having to get them from my head and I may be off by a couple hundred but the point will be made. At the end of Super Tuesday, the number of delegates McCain could have would be in the 700s, the number Romney would have would be in the 300s, that's large to overcome. It can be done, it can still be done, but that's monumental, and Huckabee will be in there with 150 some odd. The real key to this is Huckabee. A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain in the primaries. (cont.)

It's All About Delegates Now

“Too many one-issue conservatives have brought us to this state where the Conservative message is so skewed that there are no candidates out there with enough pull to appeal to enough voters to get elected.”

Duncan Hunter was that man. Many of you guys, and none of the party’s most influential people, would get behind him. He was the man God provided for us.

Dunno know. But let me guess. Because he had a divine revelation while wolfing down his meal in the parking lot of a Taco Time in Li'l Rock???? While slugging down his supersize coke, Jesus personally spoke to him from his breakfast burrito and said, "Mikey, I want you to succeed President McCain in office."?

"She should just not vote or write in Thompson or Romney, but I doubt she will vote for Hillary."

I agree.
Ann's a person of great passion, and that kind of person's easy sound-bit to death.

"If she does, then I will burn her books I have at my house."

Easy there, neighbor.
Ann & people like Ann are the only friends we have left.
Punishing one for speaking truth(s) makes us as bad, if not worse than those we claim to despise.

Don't cut off your nose.

...in spite of your face.

You need to think about the implication of your post and quit trying to blame someone else for pointing it out.

There’s only one thing we could determin from that photo.

“mccain could have a seizure and hit the button”

We’d have to remake Dr. Strangelove then.

I think the odds would be better that McCain’s VP might hit the button, if he has a stroke or seizure...until we know who his VP is we have a little bit of hope for the future if he gets in.

Do you seriously think it takes a one-issue person to find fault with these people? How about a four to eight issue person. That would be more like it with what’s left.

Bob Beckell also predicted Mitt for McCain's Veep. Rush told a caller it wouldn't be Lindsey Grahamnesty or anyone from the South.

RUSH: But then you gotta figuring this out, you gotta go to McCain's temperament, and is McCain going to want to choose anybody people might like better than him? Is McCain going to choose anybody who might bring more to the table on some things than McCain does? I don't know. I haven't gotten down that road yet. I would think McCain might choose, if this rift conditions... He might try to buy recalcitrant conservatives off by asking some conservative to be the vice president, which might give some people pause to consider -- using Broder's line, now. Broder said this. I didn't. I'm just repeating it. "President-in-waiting." Why is that relevant? You go back to Anna Quindlen yesterday -- I didn't say it; she did -- in Newsweek magazine: "How Old Is Too Old?" There are these subtle hints here that McCain is archaic and so forth. I can tell that you are very emotional about Rudy getting out and you would be excited for Rudy to get back in here. You know, he could be attorney general. He could be. You never know. There's going to be some payback here if McCain goes all the way, and Schwarzenegger can't do veep. He could become Secretary of Solar Power, I guess.

Choosing McCain's Running Mate?
RUSH: Let's not get too ahead of ourselves here, folks.

RUSH: It's Plain to See: McCain Chooses to Surround Himself with Liberals
The truth is before your eyes. What to do is up to you.

“If McVain is President, then all the liberal policies and the disaster they bring about will belong to the Republicans.”

That’s it in a nutshell. Even RINOS will have to oppose Hitlery every step of the way. They would be in bed with McCain.
