I’m curious why you’d vote for McCain and not Romney. They’re both pathetic RINOs, but I think Romney has McCain beat in the personality area. McCain’s temper is not a good quality for a President to have. I think that could actually make him quite dangerous.

Once again, I sympathize with how you are feeling.

I have been reduced to sitting on the sidelines during a Presidential election because my Party has walked even further away from me and it’s own principles.

I am becoming more and more confident that now IS the time to start forming a new party of Reagan.

A McCain-Hillary debate would be fascinating to watch. You’d have to call someone for an intervention. Neither has the temprement to be President, or even secodn-grade hall monitor.

“I can’t imagine any circumstance where I’d campaign for Hillary - unless she was running against Hitler or Pol Pot or some other mass murderer.”

What’s the Clinton body count stand at these days?

Ann Coulter just convinced me to vote for Hillary Clinton. McCain is much more of a socialist and understands economy a lot less than Billy Jefferson Clinton does. The 8 years of B J Clinton will look like the golden age compared to what McCain will foster upon us.

My guy has been the one to beat in every primary thus far, and therefore my calculations were on target. He has a more difficult road to go now, but he may still get the nomination.

Unfortunately, conservatives are fractured among all the candidates, and are not the reason for McCain's victory. In fact, one of the reasons a McCain victory is so frightening is that if he does it, it will be without most conservatives, and he will owe us nothing. BTW, Romney actually garnered more of the conservative vote, than McCain.

McCain has far greater notoriety at the moment, because he's been in Washington SO LONG and already ran for president, which is the reason Romney has had to spend so much, but all that will change if Mitt wins the nomination.

But let's get back to your original point. Stop insisting that because someone supports a different candidate or strategy than you, (in most cases a more realistic strategy), that it means a person isn't a conservative.

“Crypto-lib Mitt Romney will NEVER get my vote” ... because I hate Mormons. So I’ll vote for McInsane instead, because he’s just a liberal, but, thank goodness, not one of those nasty crypto-Mormons.

Romney can not win the general election. His liberal baggage will make him poison to conservatives by November after the MSM goes to work on him and his corporate elite image will make him anathema to Southern Democrats. We'll be looking at a rout of epic proportions.

McCain has been reliably pro-life (Mitt, for all his 'epiphanies', has not--even forcing Catholic hospitals in MA to distribute "emergency contraception). He's also reasonably good on radical Islam. He's a disaster on a lot of other things, but we're going to have to fight those battles with either McCain or Romney.

Romney was also a catastrophe in MA on judges--75% of those he named were liberals, including some who were activists pushing homo-marriage.

That said, if McCain picked a loser as a running mate, I'll be looking 3rd party.

I may anyway.

I love Mormons. I just wish you guys could stuff your sectarian cr@p in a sack and not back a pathetic liberal candidate just because he's a Mormon.

“In fact, it was devastating.... totally devastating... to McCain.
good points. it was devastating to McCain. She made is very clear just how utterly Liberal is McCain”

Exactly right!
I’m really surprised that there are so many people that don’t understand the reason for the act she put on.....and that’s exactly what it was! It’s called sarcasm...

For those who didn’t understand - It was a “hit-piece” on McCain.

Certainly, very few or none, of us wants “His-Histerical-Liberalistic-Majesty” as our candidate.

Strange AC would vote for Hitlery, but she despises Ron Paul... who IS a strict constitutionalist, and the only true Republican running among these fools... That tells me that this is not about preserving the nation, but rather the whole charade is about promoting “Empire” at any cost... even national bankruptcy.

Misleading heading at best, Ann was PO'd with the whole situation and blew off some steam.

She's not going to campaign for Hillary. She was being sarcastic, and if you don't yet know Ann's humor, you do now.

I would not put it past Rush to do the same thing on Monday. It shows McCain for what he is.

Ah, accuse someone of racism/sexism/homophobia/antisemitism/antimormonism. The last refuge of the hopelessly outgunned liberal.

I'll pray for you.
