Michael Medved has hurled the ultimate insult at Rush Limbaugh -- that he's acting like a liberal. According to Medved, Rush is thinking with his emotions, not his mind, when it comes to his criticism of of John McCain.
McCain supporter Medved appeared on Tucker Carlson's MSNBC show this evening.

I can’t stomach listening to Medved anymore. The guy is an apologist for the GOP establishment. He always thinks he’s taking the educated conservative position, but he’s just a useful imbecile for the liberal establishment.

No, dear, Rush is trying to warn you that you are running off a cliff.
So is everyone else. But you can only do so much. The cliff is so seductive, and a lemming can’t help being who he is.

What has happened to MM?
There is nothing liberal or emotional about Rush.

Sorry, Medved is just flat wrong on this. The very fact he thinks Rush is acting on emotion proves it. There are so many real logical issues and reasons to be against McCain without having to even TOUCH the emotional reasons.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Rush— acting like a liberal??? That’s just asinine.

Rush acting like a lib?
Who does he think he’s fooling?
To: governsleastgovernsbest
I don’t care what Medved said.
I still respect Rush, and I HATE McCain. I can’t imagine seeing him as our president.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Medved was pretty smug today. I have listened to him for years, sitting at my desk doing my work. I’m about done. I would like to know why McCain won’t be another Bob Dole. I would also like to know why many who claim Republican credentials believe that we will elect a Senator this year. Wasn’t the last Senator-President elected in 1960, nearly 50 years ago? The public is disinclined to elect insiders to the Top Dog post.

I’ve listened to both Medved and Limbaugh over the years. Although I sometimes like what Medved says, sometimes I don’t. Rush is much more solid on the issues. I think Medved is wrong on McCain, wrong on Rush, and wrong to speak up to criticize Rush. I guess he wants his one minute of fame.

I can still handle him for up to 5 minutes at a stretch, but I have a strong stomach. It also bothers me that he seems always to resort to name-calling when he’s losing an argument.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
I respect a lot of what Michael Medved speaks for day to day. On this issue, I respectfully and vehemently disagree with him.
