Probably because they are treating this as a medical issue, and are protecting his privacy.

Was there not another one of these guys that drove an airliner straight into the Atlantic ... while he was talking to his god?

The UK has a different approach to things than we do when it comes to certain offenses.
For instance, in the US, we can easily learn the name of a man charged with rape but not the victim's name.
In the UK, you will learn the name of neither.
In this case, the principle may be the same.
Although, I could be wrong and the perp could be a stinking Muslim slime bag who wanted to meet with allah.

Medical condition or not, if you “act up” on a flight i am on I will take great pleasure in rendering you unable to continue. A few swift kicks or punches would have settled the co-pilot right down........

I could be wrong, but I have a hunch that he is a pie-eyed proselyte of the Pirate Polygamist Pedophile “Prophet”.

Our errant co-pilot failed to remember the below poem, by a fellow Canuck:
High Flight
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long delirious, burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew -
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untresspassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.

Nothing in the article suggested he was Muslim.
From the headline though, it looks like the writers enjoy capitalizing upon this pilots seeming mental/emotional distress, by portraying those whom have a desire to speak with God, as being lunatic. Since the pilot was acting lunatic otherwise.

He was swearing and asking for God and very distressed. He basically said he wanted to talk to God." Poor guy. He had to complain about the food to someone.
(Was it really halal?)

I agree with that, but it doesn’t mean the whole world needs to know his name.
To: BlueDragon
Nothing in the article suggested he was Muslim. I wasn't referring to the article. I was referring to the veiled hints here on this forum that he is probably Muslim becasue his name is being withheld.

Didn’t they play this on TV at the end of the day when the channel was about to go off the air for the night? Back when channels went off the air at night.
