You know Hunter and Thompson
and Rudy and Keyes,
Ron Paul and Tancredo
McCain, Huckabee.
But do you recall
the most famous contender of all?
Romney the red-mitt Mormon
Was a shining CEO
When the Olympics hired him
You can say our nation glowed
All of the politicians
Used to laugh and call him "lame"
They wouldn't let Mitt's army
Join in any DC games
One Fat Tuesday voters came
Pollsters heard them say:
"Romney with your mind so bright
Wont' you take the helm tonight?
Mitt then began his mission
Orchestrating Washington
Faithful, commanding Romney
He became our favorite son!

Mitt was a flip flopper,
Would tell you what you want to hear.
Mitt was a liberal,
but conservative this year.
Oh Mitt with your pandering,
What truly do you believe?
Is it forced RomneyCare,
Or billions for Detroit?

Romney may well become our next president. Should he get the 'Pubbie nod, I'll vote for him in the general.
Then I'll go home and hack off my lever-pullin' finger with a dull 'n rusty nail file.

Actually, not so bad ... there are waaayyyy too many anti-Romneys on this board ... relative newbies, one issue-ers ... really down on Mitt ... almost makes me want to vote for him.

Fairly lame-o. I'd recommend this:
All of the Moms and Daddies,
Used to yell out loud, "for shame!"
Mitt wouldn't let the Boy Scouts,
Join in the Olympic games.

Man, I read the title and thought someone was calling Romney a Communist.

Mitt Romney is a very decent man and does not deserve to be called names by Conservatives.
The man loves his wife, loves his family, loves his country and is trying to serve it in a way he thinks will be helpful.
If you do not want to vote for him that is fine. But this is not the kind of American we need to be tearing down at this time in our history.

Well, I am not new, but I AM anti-Romney.
Of course, I am also anti-Rudy, anti-McCain, and anti-the-crazy-guy whose name I forget.
Generally disgusted with the lot of them.

Actually, this one's even better:
There once was a liberal named Mitt,
Who had lots of dough, I admit.
But the voters got wise
To his phony disguise
And now his campaign looks like sh!t.

Actually the same can be said about most of the Republican candidates including all those who have dropped out. I have good reasons for not wanting Romney to be president none of which have anything to do with his decency (unless you think distrusting him reflects on that).
