I would rather the government do nothing and let the economy correct itself. If they could just make the tax cuts permanent, it would be a good thing, but giving everyone rebate checks so they can rush to WalMart and buy a bunch a Chinese made products is insanity.

Just for the record, most 89% of all illegals are paid in CASH and do not pay any taxes.

The illegal immigrant would have to steal and use an American SSN when he commits a felony by filing a fraudulent tax return.

Any check sent to an illegal who has violated the law, should have that money confiscated and sent back to the US Treasury, telling them to stick this up their big fat blotted A— for having the arrogance of sending a criminal a check in the first place!

Instead of giving the rebates to ILLEGAL immigrants, the money should be used to round them up and ship them back to the country of their origin.

Uh, wrong. They’re illegal aliens and FELONS, and as such, have no business in this country. They should not be rewarded for longevity, just because they haven’t been snatched up and deported. The very idea of giving illegals a ‘tax id’ is in direct violation of Title 8 of the U.S. Code sections 1324 and 1325 respectively. The government is in direct violation of its own federal statute.

At $3,000 they are not paying any taxes - they are probably getting a refund if they have children. They get the refundable earned income credit, the child care credit and now a tax rebate. Not bad for paying not taxes and being here illegally.
