Did not see it posted yet, here we go folks!
Bush 4yrs
Clinton 8yrs
Bush 8yrs
Clinton another 4 yrs
What a depressing history with an even more depressing future ahead.
Well, I’m writing Thompson in on the general unless Mitt somehow pulls out a victory for the nomination.
Seems McCain and his ilk have successfully punished us nativists, extremists, and anti immigrants. The party has gone back to the Country Club where we conservatives are relagated to the dustbin.
McCain/Feingold
Amnesty
Gang of 14
Keating 5
Voting against tax cuts
Yep, its going to be a very interesting 4 more years.
:(
And as a conservative I would vote for them. Unfortunately, should any of them run for President, the Republican party powers-that-be would tank their campaign(s) early on.
Rudy did have a great line the other day. ‘The only change the Democrats will bring to Washington is the change in your pockets.’ Question is, would McCain hold the line?
Thanks bray, and as much as I dislike McCain, he is a real American hero. That can't be denied. If he gets the nomination, I'm going to be a clothespin Republican and vote for him.
No, I’m not an idiot. I am someone faced with the awful choice of trying to believe someone who has recently come to realize a lot of my positions verses...what? exactly?
I’ve agonized over this vote. I liked Fred. Fred did squat. In that polling thing online Hunter lines up with my views most. He did squat.
McCain is a known evil. Romney says the right things. Do I trust him. No. Not really. But I would like to be able to.
Your posting history aside - the manner you go about criticizing someone a lot of us are trying to decide upon drives us towards him. I’ve studied his positions. I like a lot of them as stated. Some I disagree with. I disagree on some biggies. But, I have to ask myself who do I think can both meet more conservative requirements AND keep Obama and Hillary out of the White House and I have to pick Romney.
Giuliani is a liberal whom I could NEVER support.
I liked McCain about 5 minutes and then read more about him and he is simply unacceptable.
Huckabee is a Huckster. My gut feel is I can not trust him.
Paul. Well. Bwhahahahahahah.
So, there is Mitt. Wish I had a better choice. Oh, how I wish it. But I’m not an idiot and I don’t deserve attacks for a well-considered decision.
And that is why I can’t stand the fawning over Reagan on this board and across conservatism. The guy had some great speeches, excellent one-liners, but what did he do?
Iran Contra? Amnesty? (The same amnesty that, by the way, Duncan Hunter tried to stop.) Star Wars? Military spending increases for wars he never fought?
Fred dropped out several days ago and hasn't endorsed anybody and most of his supporters have gone to Romney.
McCain got tens of millions of dollars of free advertising with flattering pictures and stories on the front page of the NYT back in 2000. He will again until he (if he) gets the nomination. All of a sudden, the NYT will find all the unflattering pictures and stories and go into the fair and balanced mode to make up for it.
You hit the nail on the head.
With McCain it's even more of a done deal. Some number of R senators won't want to oppose their president. So it will be harder to filibuster McCain than a Dem.
I'm with you. Dereliction of duty.

I was going to disagree strenuously until I saw your tag.
I get it.
Good one!.
Hank
-—In that scenario, I would not only vote for Romney, I would campaign for him.-—
I can hardly believe it. We agree!
Oh, and he expanded Socialist Security. No wonder the Democrats loved him.
Hispanics in Florida have voted GOP since the Cubans first started coming here nearly fifty years ago. When the Communists seized power in Cuba, it was the educated and productive classes who fled. The current Mexican invasion of America isn't the educated and productive classes. The educated and productive people in Mexico aren't the ones coming here. They're doing just fine in Mexico so they have no reason to leave. We're getting their uneducated, low wage, welfare, and criminal classes. They're tailor-made to be loyal Democrat voters.
Bush has pushed amnesty for Latinos for years and a majority of them voted against him in 2000 & 2004. A majority will vote for Hillary over McCain this year, if he's the nominee. And if he pushes through amnesty, a majority will vote against the GOP when they become eligible to vote. In fact, they'll be more hostile to the GOP than ever because they've been weened on La Raza and have been primed for being on the receiving end of pandering. And no one can out-pander the Democrats. Ever.
The Dims are quaking in their jackboots tonight.
ROTFLMAO!!!!!
One thing you should thank President Bush for is completely turning off the public to another Bush, because I would sooner vote for that senile lunatic Ron Paul for POTUS than someone whose surname is "Bush."
We can only hope that Shrillary's unparalleled negatives and her campaign's blatant racism sink her in a general election.
*crosses fingers*
The electorate voted for Clinton twice, nearly voted in Gore and now has a bunch of Dumocrats in Congress. The electorate buys what the media feeds them. Don’t believe me? Look at W’s popularity ratings. Now has he really been “THAT” Terrible of a President? Economy has been good most of the time. We haven’t had a major attack again. War is going pretty good. Yet, where is he.
The media keep the people stupid and they will gladly destroy McCain to get their darlings in power.
The word is podooka and yes that is Oregon. So when did all those Mexicans move to San Diego, yesterday?? They have been there for 150 years and so has this problem. It will not be solved by the gummit.
Anybody who dares to address this issue will be crucified by you and talk radio, so like all politicians it will be ignored. There will never be another George Bush stupid enough to try.
Pray for W and Our Troops
