I’ll also be sitting out any election in November that has McCain as a nominee. The democrat nomineee makes no difference obviously.

That just almost breaks my heart as I have never missed a presidential election vote before.

-—Do the majority of republicans depend on MSM for “news?”-—

Pretty much, and now they’ll be pumping for McCain. There will be the Rudy endorsement and on and on and on. The Republican power structure is basically old and corrupt and must be torn to the ground and rebuilt to be worth anything again.

McCain will be good for demolishing anything left of our Party. I’ll give him that. He’s a human wrecking ball.

I did some research on Crist and found out he is sort of a wacko on the environment. Probably one of the reasons he endorsed MCain.

I hope some Republican Governors in other states will come out and endorse and stump for Romney!

I’m sick and tired of Freepers blaming ME for Mitt Romney being the conservative choice.

Bitter?

Regretful?

Ashamed?

Soak in it.

It's due.

Clinton will mop up on Super Tuesday.

So we've heard but I was shocked to hear that she and Obama are tied in Ct. Kennedy's influence may be a big factor in CA as well. Florida's win isn't as large as we thought as we're now hearing those who decided within the last few days overwhelming voted for Obama.

We are electing nutty people for very important positions by very stupid voters.

Yup. IMO, it gets worse every day in this country. Sadly, members of the Greatest Generation (people of very high character) are dying, and they're being "replaced" by some incredibly stupid people (people of very low character, and just plain ignorant).

These stupid voters are cancelling out our informed votes. I really fear for the future of this country...

I am curious how the stock market will react tomorrow based on the next president will be either McCain or Hillary. Either one is a dud on the economy.

However the Fed is also set to announce interest rate cut tomorrow so that is another variable.

Out of the RINOS, I prefer McCain... Only because he can beat Hillary.

Of all the candidates, McCain is probably the one with the strongest Democrat coat tails. A Mitt Romney nomination would almost certainly bode better for House and Senate races than a John McCain one. Further, if John McCain wins, it won't be long before you wish Hillary had.

Well we have important work to do. First, I will admit to those here that Obama is a good man. If I were voting on character, I would vote for him but I’m voting on policy. I am like so many on the FR deeply troubled by McCain. I have about decided the Democrats are a party of racists and the Republicans are religous bogots. The issue is where do we go. I am convinced third party won’t win but we get to stand for something. I will not waste my vote again on these republicans.
I think Lou Dobbs will run if we get him money. Maybe Lou and Pat Buchanan. They could tear McAmnesty a new one at every turn.

I am so bummed tonight. I just hope our Military gets a fair shake when this is all done. And I’ll be praying extra hard that the Al Qaeda’s of the world don’t take strength from a democratic win. Can you imagine The House, The Senate and The White House all under Democratic rule? {{{{{{shudder}}}}}.

Whoever was behind the illegal immigration debate accomplished their mission...splinter the Republican Party.

That would be the President, John McCain and Teddy Kennedy, if I'm not mistaken.

Bears repeating, louder! Amen!

"Romney has to go NUCLEAR on the immigration issue. That's the only thing that can turn this thing around at this point. He needs to NAIL McCain to the failed amnesty bill and drive this point him consistently in the debate and in his advertising. This can't be a tepid response, Romney needs to spell things out forcefully and repeatedly regarding immigration. Otherwise, he will lose on 2/5 and the country will lose in November."

I tell you what surprises me, FRiends, and that is knowing how many military personnel reside and vote in Florida... I figured that would nix it for McCain. I can’t believe anyone in the service or a family member would vote for him. I just cannot.

I think the stats will show that independents went for mcCAIN big.

You blind suckers who support the liberal RINO Romney are the ones who will truly have to suffer with your own consciences.

Gee that's funny, I wonder just WHO is blind.

The Moderates in the party all went for McCain. They did not note for Romney. These were all Republicans....No independents.

The Conservatives and evangelicals went for Romney. The Wishywashies went for McCain, largely on immigration and security, LoL! They even think he's a economics guru!

It's you who are apparently out of the loop and missed the memo...

If this keeps up, and McCain gets the nomination, you will not have to worry about how he will be in office, cuz he will never see the White House from the inside..and he will retire from the Senate with his wad blown.
