Romney wins the first half. Very solid.

What was Russert saying? They left his mike on.

I thought I heard “are you hearing this? this is just laughable.”

I liked Huckabee’s answer about how support for the war at the beginning (which was near universal) should not be second guessed and America pull out based upon polls.

Praise for Huckabee from me is sincere if you have seen any of my posts on Huckabee threads. I am not a fan. But GREAT answer on that one. What was the vote in Congress again? Wasn’t even close, and even the Dem’s voted for the war (some before they voted against it).

Actually, it’s like a morgue in there and now I know why. Brian Williams said they told the audience that they had to act like they are in the mummy’s tomb, dead silence. What a crock of bull. No wonder there is no spontaneous anything. And those NBC/PMSNBC *ssholes are doing it intentionally, to make it boring. They’d never do that with the rowdy Dem crowd. Ticks me off bigtime.

Well, if Romney was the front-runner going into tonight so far he’s done nothing to hurt himself and that “General Hillary Clinton” remark is memorable. Whoever wrote that for him ought to receive a bonus.

I like the way the candidates and NOT Russert are dictating the tone of the debate. Russerts throwing the best he’s got and they are all (cept Paul) hitting them all with quite a few knocked out of the park. Dems fall apart at this kind of questioning.
