Which is why I’m making a push for a write in candidacy for Kelly Ripa’s derriere.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1958197/posts

It’s not a great one, but neither is our current slate of candidates. We don’t know if it’s conservative but we know for sure that everyone we are being told to vote for isn’t.

It was healthy for Free Republic to see those yahoos sent packing.

Btw, most of them were Bush Cultists who became RudyBoosters by default.

Good riddance.

Knowledge can be learned from books; it's what a person does with that knowledge that makes him "wise".

So true. That's the sentiment I was asking about, I think. Unless someone DOES something with that knowledge to benefit society, it's useless.

I had a private FReepletter from someone who signed up in 1999 but has never once posted on the forum.

It asked me why the Keating 5 scandal is not being brought up more. It also talked about Hillary and the ‘free trips’ from Keating and how her paperwork was lost for months but mysteriously turned up later on!!

Paperwork that conveniently showed she had made re-imbursements to Keating, snicker.

You know, I have a feeling that JMack and some of these other Romney haters are McCain plants, anything else makes ZERO sense...on, second thought, maybe sense has nothing to do with some of their postings.

I saw the original post, but it was just imagining. If you had said “I would think he’d be pretty sick about it”, I may have posted that I disagreed with your opinion.

But you are right, your actual response did upset me, because I admire Fred, and in MY opinion I’m betting he feels BETTER about dropping out after watching the debate tonight. But that’s just my opinion. You could be right, but without hearing from the candidate you were just making up what he would say, and you presented it as fact.

I saw nothing “humorous” in what you said. If you had responded to me by saying “I was just trying to be funny”, I would have backed off.

Rush said today that they want the Conservative base to shut up... they want Rush to shut up... neither of us is going anywhere and we will not go quietly into the good night. Thanks for the kind words.

I liked the ABC debate also. Each debate lets us know a little more about each candidate. Unless a person has access to a candidate who is campaigning, the debates are the best means for sizing up the individuals and comparing them with each other directly. Actually, I thought the questions and responses were quite informative. Even if the intent of the question was to put the candidate off balance, it served to keep them alert as well as to give them experience in keeping their minds focused on the issue at hand. The candidates tonite seemed more at ease than at other times and also quite serious with their answers. They were all knowledgeable and confident and held their own quite well. They are educating the public with each debate they participate in, and that is good thing.

He said he would not vote for any more laws against gun owners and said we don’t need any more laws. I was not happy about his answer however I do believe that Mitt will win the primaries and win the White House. He is the most presidential of all the candidates. I do like Fred Thompson but he dropped out. Mitt is hinting he might pick Fred for running mate. McCain has not been a very good supporter of conservative issues. McCain is part of the problem with Washington he even voted against Bush on the tax plan. He has sided with the Dems to many times for me. Ron Paul is a flake! Huck ought to go back to Arkansas. Giuliani is ok but he is too short...

As long as we continue to fulfill the Republican’s current motto, which is “Where else are they going to go?”, they’ll continue to put up these rotten people.

Look, I don’t think they’re rotten, but they’re too far left for me. You guys go ahead and do what you have to do. I will also. I know you think you’re doing what’s best and I can’t argue with that.

Doesn’t mean I won’t try to make it clear why I’m doing what I’m doing though.

"Yes I did."

I asked you which post-debate poll you were talking about. Unless I missed a post of yours, you did not answer my question. But now you're saying you did? Where?
