This was a surprise. From the Hunter statement:
"I got to know Governor Huckabee well on the campaign trail," said Hunter. "Of the remaining candidates I feel that he is strongly committed to strengthening national defense, constructing the border fence and meeting the challenge of China's emergence as a military superpower that is taking large portions of Americas industrial base."
"Along with these issues of national security, border enforcement and protecting the U.S. industrial base, I see another quality of Mike Huckabee's candidacy that compels my endorsement. Mike Huckabee is a man of outstanding character and integrity. I saw that character over the last year of campaigning and was greatly impressed. The other Republican candidates have many strengths and I wish them all well. My personal choice is Mike Huckabee," Hunter concluded.
it’s actually not so shocking. Before deciding on Fred, I also considered Hunter. I didn’t just want to vote for Fred because of the polls and the big name.
But the real story was that Hunter was also a big nanny stater, loves pork spending and against free trade. He is for the fair tax. They think alike on many issues.
No, but I’m disappointed.
And to think I actually liked this guy.
Maybe Hunter’s a closet Mormon-hater.
I thought that was The Cube from the Transformers movie.
Oh well
Somebody needs to run and check on Ann Coulter...the president of the Duncan Hunter groupie fan club. Take away her firearms.
“Vote for McCain.”
I’d crawl across broken glass to vote agaqinst him.
This is rich....hey Hunter supporters he endorsed the Huckster!!!
How's it feel.
Sadly I was also a Hunter supporter...

Wrong
What difference would it make? Which one is worse?
Loyalty and respect are not transferable.
Hunter is strongly pro-life and Huckabee is also strongly pro-life. Hunter is very worried about China - Huckabee is the only remaining candidate who seems to share any of his concerns about China. Also, while Huckabee has a horrible record on immigration he has adopted a platform on immigration with many similarities to Duncan Hunters. So, he is as believable on immigration as Romney is on abortion. Huckabee and Hunter also share a passion for protecting the second amendment. It is for these reasons that I am sure that Hunter endorsed Huckabee. Obviously Huckabee is not a perfect choice but given the options it was about as good of one as he could have made. I knew he wouldn’t endorse Romney due to Bain capital and its dealings with China and there was no way that he was going to endorse Mr. Amnesty or the pro-abortion Giuliani.
OMG! I LOVE Nelson!! LOL
I named my dog after him!
>> Vote for McCain.
PI$$ up a rope, shill.

Put a .357 to my head and the answer is still "no way in hell".
How’s it feel for Thompson to drop out?
ping for later
I think a lot is going to happen before this election is over and you never know what the candidates may do. Personally it still won’t get me to vote for the Huckster but Hunter may know something I don’t.
