Oh well, we're doomed. Let's hope it'll be minimal damage until 2012.

No suprise. He clearly seemed talked into running instead being really up for it of his own initiative.

He already endorsed him by getting in the campaign to assure some of his early victories. I’m sorry nobody runs that bad of a campaign on purpose.

Rush just said, Fred is out. Fred needs to call Mitt and endorse him, then accept Mitt’s offer for VP.

So sad.

Sen Brownback supports McCain which I can't go with. The Kansas caucuses are on Feb 9 and I suppose I'll be looking at Romney.

Fred was a good choice but he never really seemed to want it bad enough. I wanted him to want it.. and so did many other of us conservatives......... He would be a good V.P. and I hope he does NOT endorse his buddy McVain. If he does, then I will know he was not the man for the job.

Then there’s nobody I can support with a vote. I’ll either write in Hunter or Thompson.

Check off another one from my preference list.

Tancredo
Hunter
Thompson
Romney
My neighbor's cat
Fantasy McCain from his campaign rhetoric
Giuliani
Huckabee
Castro (if still alive)
The Real McCain from his record

(Why are McCain and Romney in the spell checker, but Huckabee and Giuliani aren't?)

If true, Romney is the only one left that I MIGHT cast a vote for.

Otherwise, or if Romney makes a big enough gaffe, it's third party.

I don't care what you say about third party, it's my vote and I'll do what I want with it so don't pull the usual cr*p about it being a vote for the dark side.

Why Romney? Why not back Paul, or Huckabee, or any other whack job running as a conservative?

Just because the candidate has an R after their name doesn’t make them optimal, or conservative.

If the party doesn’t want to put up a credible candidate, I don’t have to support it.
