Fred needs to stay in and see how this mess plays out.

I’m sick of Romney supporters (Lopez, Hewitt) stating that Fred should get out.

Maybe Fred can finish pushing through Title X if he gets in!
If you don’t know what it is, look it up and you’ll throw up a little.

I think if Fred planned on staying in he would have said so. He has to know that by not saying anything about going on to Florida and/or beyond, it would hurt him in fund raising and organization. It also lets all of the news show say he is getting out, which has to have cost him some support.

Fred should stay and fight on.
Fred08.com has a new homepage photo, with attached paragraphs explaining Fred’s plans to beef up the military.
I think this is a good sign.

He should only leave if it won’t help McCain.

Rudy will be competing with McCain for the same votes in FL, so the logic that Fred splitting votes with Huck is clearing the way for McCain there is seriously flawed.
Fred’s team is going to need a serious grassroots organization effort to get 2nd in FL. They are going to have to make some changes to make it happen.

The practical consequence of Thompson's presence so far has been to hand South Carolina to McCain. It's seems unlikely that this dynamic will change in other southern states. All Thompson is managing to do is to split the conservative vote and clear the way for McCain. What a steaming load of crap.

According to the poll on FOX, over 60% say he should stay in. Can’t argue with a poll!

Let Fred stay as long as his money holds out. Anything can happen in a brokered convention.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Fred will stay in at least until super tuesday and likely through the convention. That will piss off a LOT of anti-Fred’s and that breaks my heart a lot but ya know, these things happen in politics.

Don't ask me why a conservative would vote for Huckabee, but without Fred, Huckabee would have won S.C. big.I can't think of a better reason for Fred to stay in the game.

Fred and Mitt are the only two candidates who will make it to the convention with a chance of winning. McCain and Huckabee will both hold delegate blocks with no chance of expanding beyond them. McCain is the independent's candidate. Huckabee will be unmasked shortly and be left with only what he has won to date.
That leaves a brokered convention with Fred and Mitt as the only possible contenders. Mitt will hold several times Fred's delegates, but no majority.
If this realization sets in earlier, Fred's primary voting support may surprise and he will go in with more.
Fred should stay in if he can finance it.

If he stays there will be trouble...
If he goes there will be DOUBLE.
He should stay.

There will be no brokered convention. McCain won SC and will win FL, too. Then, McCain will win NJ and NY and pick up most of CA. This race is over.

Go. It's not going to get any better. Thompson did it to himself by making his formal announcement three months too late. I'm a Giuliani supporter and it looks like my guy will be gone in ten day days too.
Romney is okay by me. I'd rather have Giuiliani or Thompson, but Romney is acceptable. McCain is not. He's an enemy of freedom.

In this case, there's more than one goal, Fred winning it all is a good start, however.
But Fred's influence in this GOP race is very important for conservatives and the country. He's the only one in the race speaking for conservatives and putting forth a bona fide conservative platform. That, alone, is worth our support.
