I have donated to Fred monthly since he got in and if he is on the ballot Feb 5th I will vote for him, however I will not stay home if he is not the nominee.

The Republican party cannot win National elections without it’s true base... The Conservative Base... and they have shown that they truly hate and scorn us... and this will lead to a socialist America... because we are going to get a socialist as President... with either an “r” or a “d” beside their name. It sickens me to no end.

I can see how it could be an innocent mistake. Possibly...but the woman in that picture looks to be about the same age as Fred +/- 5 years. So, unless it was mislabeled from the original source, I'm not sure how you'd mistake her for his mother. Jeri's maybe...not Fred's. If she wasn't identified in the picture from the original source, then it was irresponsible to post that it was her.

I agree that this is still salvageable for Fred”
I believe that too because this race is still wide open. All the folks who think Rudy has Florida in his pocket might just be wrong. I have also heard on various thareads that 40% have already voted here in Florida. It true,40% of all voters means nothing to me right now. If they said 40% of Republican voters, that would mean something. In all of the calling I have done to absentee Registered Republicans, none of the folks told me they had already voted. All said they were looking at the candidates and had not decided yet. They all showed interest in Fred and some did say they liked Fred. I know that McCain and Huckabee will fade soon and I see the chance for Fred to make another surge after the debate from Palm BEach this coming Thursday. I am with Fred through Super Tuesday if he is still fighting!

Of course it is...things change pretty fast these days. this election was going to be about the war and now it’s about the economy. Despite the nonstop chatter on the media...most Americans are apathetic about this. Special interest groups are making decisions and even they are playing catch up.
1081 delegates to be won on Super Tuesday.

The SCOTUS will be screwed over by that time, though.
Dingy Harry Reid will be up against the MOAF (Mother of all filibusters). Mitch McConnell said as much in a radio interview (with Hugh Hewitt?) this past Friday.

The GOP is awash in rinos. That’s the only reason that makes sense to me.

it seems like averages...
Three moderates......Huckster, Mitt, Queeg
One less moderate......Rudi
One Libertarian...Paul
One more Conservative....Fred
Two really Conservative....Tanc and Duncan
nobody ever gets a majority in the first primaries and name recognition and money are everything
it’s no surprise Queeg is ahead, it is though that Huckster is in the race
another lesson is that this is what happens when there is no VP running unless one has a strong outside contender waiting ...something many of us hoped Fred was...but we were a minority of those who vote in GOP primaries
letting independents vote in GOP primaries doesn’t look so good either...that’s what’s fueling Queeg

Wel...this only shows that religion does indeed cause wars. I am really beginning to resnet evangeicals... Do you resent that Mormons voted probably 100% for Mitt in Nevada at four times the rate of non-Mormons in turnout?

Nope. They voted for a Conservative. The Evangelicals did not.

some would argue Mitt is not a real conservative either
and the protestant Christian vote (Evilgelicals as the media and some freepers like to say) was split between Queeg, Huck and Fred and even Mitt
Huckster is more socially conservative than any of them
shame he doesn’t carry the reat of the pizza
but on the other hand ....none of the others carry the social conservatism pie much either though they try to appear like they do now
i don’t like any of it but I don’t EvilGelicals....if Fred had pushed more for their vote, it was his to lose but instead he staye aloof and lawyerly
and now he’s adios probably
Mitt or Huck are the next two in line for me since I suppose Fred is gone
I’d vote for Rudi if he had an epiphany....I like his personality and wit but dang he is so liberal

Not sure what that has to do with the subject. I’m far from flawless and have made my share of mistakes. But I’m also old enough not to be so naive. Or maybe it’s just accepting reality.
To: Chuck54
Not sure what you mean, but I don’t see anything wrong in posting a picture of the winning candidate from one of the news stations
To: wardaddy
I know alot of people that are going to/already did vote for Rudy here in Florida. I ask them to consider Fred and they know nothing about him.
I get upset when I hear one religion bands together to vote for someone that shares their religion. To me that lowers a person to the level of a Democrat....voting for selfish reasons.
I suppose Huck is better than Mccain.....but I'd like to see Fred....then Mitt.
