Today is the day.
If the race is between Romney and McCain, it is time for me to start looking for someone to get behind for 2012.
The problem is that Obama looks “young” to the young people, and Romney looks older and plastic. But I still think Bill is in charge, and HRC will be the candidate. Millions idolize her, and her opposition is split apart.
Politicians say a lot of things. How about a cabinet position?
Romney’s healthcare proposal is solid, for anyone who cares to read it. And, it is not a federal plan, but a state-be-state proposal encompassing deregulation, tax deductions and private insurance for low-income patients.
Your actions may have very well allowed McCain to rise....the worst possible candidate for the GOP. Even Rush LImbaugh leans toward Romney, but I guess Rush is just another rino./sarcasm

I’ll vote uncommitted, but that isn’t much of a statement. Our primary is in March and Rudy is the only candidate on the ballot.
Ditto for those who complain about style even while complimenting him every time a debate or Michael Moore smackdown rolls around.
Don’t get me wrong, I will be a Fred supporter to the end, but if he pulls out, I will be voting for Romney. Who is much better than the three other options (assuming they all can stay in awhile). Romney may be considered the flip flop, but he is really more just a flipper. Since he came out as pro-life, ect...has he changed his stances?

Someone will release their delegates well before the convention to avoid the brokered convention scenario.
Yea it would raise my suspicions if McCain put Fred in a cabinet position or especially if he brings him along as a running mate. There is no doubt that if Fred had pulled out before the S Carolina vote, Huck would’ve won S. Carolina and gained strong momentum. Now that voters have already voted, Fred has began the end his candidacy. The only reason Fred stayed in the race this long was to give his pal McCain a lead in Carolina.
Thompson will drop out soon and endorse McCain, in my very humble opinion. In fact I believe that McCain will pick Thompson as his Vice President, again in my humble opinion.
I would say that is the most likely scenario.
Anybody know what districts those counties are in?
I hate to say it but the only way I vote for President if those are our Republican candidates(McCain w. VP-Thompson) is if Hillary wins the Democratic nominee. Otherwise, this dog ignores the President box on the ballot!
It was a safe bet a year ago and it is how things will work out.
McCain v Clinton in November—God help us.
PS: Perhaps a third party gambit will be hatched too.

Excuse me, we’re not “senile old people” if we’re over 70, nor are we “about to kick the bucket”, and we’re better educated than Huckastupid’s crowd. Be careful who you want to disenfranchise. Haven’t we seen enough of that with “open” primaries?
My grandson can vote, and I wish he wouldn’t since he’s in that crowd. But he has the right.
