Because he swore to uphold the constitution of the Commonwealth of Mass?

So did the state Supreme Court. Unfortunately, four of them decided to violate their oath in the same-sex "marriage" case.

LOL
I liked that. Didn’t know if anyone on here would remember the great Pat Paulsen campaigns.

Romney winning is big. So much for the straight talk express.

Remember this is just a primary, not the election...we said weeks ago the primary voting would swing back and forth between the Rep candidates this year because there is no clear leader yet...

what we are doing is sorting the recyclables from the ‘other’til we have the nominating convention...

.59% — does that mean 60% of ONE precinct, or is that 59%? ;)
I’m guessing you mean 59%?
I don’t like Romney, but I like him better than McCain at this point — at least with Romney there is a chance he may have fudged his views a little in order to get voted in in Massachusetts (although that still kind of stinks seeing that he is a man who would compromise his principles like that). With McCain there is no doubt at all that he is a liberal, and after the whole Amnesty debacle I really don’t like him at all...
I’m glad to see that Huckabee is getting such a low return...
Here’s hoping that South Carolina comes out for Thompson and he gets a little more coverage as a result. I think really that if the majority of active GOP voters would really go for him if they were exposed to him just a little more...

Giuliani is currently in 7th place, behind "uncommitted."

Go, Mr. Uncommitted! We're rooting for you!

Mr. Uncommitted had an earlier press conference. Here's his photo:

Drudge reporting: Michigan Precincts Report... 1.44% ROMNEY 38%
MCCAIN 31%
HUCKABEE 16%

Apparently McSoreLoser is threatening things will get nasty in SC as he truly believes he has winning power over all the others.

I never said a Clinton victory was a cert. Read what I posted again, and read the post I was replying to...that should clarify.

So on the GOP side... are 30 or 15 delegates up for grabs in Michigan?

Is Michigan a "winner takes all" (delegates) state?

Thanks in advance for whoever can help...

I don’t think this accurately captures Fred Thompson’s position on the human life amendment.

He was asked if he would pursue that and he said no—that it didn’t have a realistic chance. Rather, he would seek to overturn Roe v. Wade and return to the state we were in prior to 1973, with the abortion decision at the state level.

That does not mean he would oppose a right to life amendment.

Of course, the President has no say in Constitutional amendments—that’s up to the individual states and the Congress.

I don’t know what he’s said about the definition of marriage act—do you have any quotes? He probably has the same position as on the human life amendment—he won’t push for it, but he won’t oppose it. With his emphasis on federalism, he probably sees this issue as up to the states.

I’m with you on that — completely.
Thompson far ahead of the rest, Hunter — if it were at all possible at this point, then Romney. McCain & Huckabee — no way at all.

Does that mean that when they count 100% of the votes, he’s have 100% of them?
